Girls only!?

This is a real question!Do tampons hurt or feel different
to put in if you are a virgin like me? im 16 and soo embarrassed of this question

Answer:
You might have a little difficulty putting in the first time, but it shouldn't be painful or uncomfortable. I'm 27 and have been using them for years, but the first time I used them I wasted a whole box because I couldn't figure out how it was supposed to go in. Duh...
Buy Playtex, get the lowest flow-size the first time. Playtex has pictures on the directions that are really easy to follow. Good luck!
no, it doesnt make a difference. if you put a tampon in properly, you shouldnt even know it is there. i mean you might feel the string on the outside, but a tampon should never hurt or be uncomfortable. if you are having problems with that, you should see an OB/GYN. and dont be embarrassed, we all had questions like that at one point. =)
No I wondered the same thing, and it is not any different, although every woman is made differently you may want to talk to your gyno about it they hear it all the time and don't be embarrassed it's only natural to want to know about your own body.

I am 23 and have never been able to use tampons. I have bought all kinds and I always feel uncomfortable with them in my mom never talked to me about tampons or how to use them I do think if she would of I properly would of felt more comfortable about them. Dont be embarrassed it is part of life. Good Luck!!
It didn't hurt me. I had a friend that couldn't use them because it hurt too much. Get the smallest size to start with. If you put it in wrong (at a wierd angle) it could hurt a bit. And if you take it out soon after putting it in, it kinda hurts. So relax, then insert.
First off don't be embarrassed, and second, no the shouldn't but since you are young start off with the thin ones, to let your body adjust, then you can move to a regular size. If it does hurt, you may want to re-insert it. If it still hurts, don't use them, you may be allergic. They should not hurt, in fact you shouldn't be able to feel them at all. Read the directions on the box to insert them properly.
I'M virgen 2, i'm just 14 years old. n i have no idea, 'cause i dont use that. so i advice u to no use that, 'cause u may lose ur virginity, thats y i don't use that ****.
i have no clue! im 14 and still use pads because i dont no what to exspect! i never wanted to ask that question so i havent! dont be embarressed. ill find out eventually.. im a virgin to! i hope it dosent feel weird!
Well at firts they do, so you should start with the smallest size first. It will be uncomfortable for a few days but the more you use them the more you get used to using them. For me, I think it was a brilliant invention.
it should not be any diffrent. i would but the ones with the rounded plastic applicator and the small ones they go in better until you get used to doing it.
They're going to feel weird when you use them for the 1st time but once you get used to them you will even forget you have one on. . . . Unless you put it on wrong. . . like if you dont push it in all the way then its going to bother you really bad. The 1st time you put one on you're going to be scared to push it in. . . but its normal thats how i was when i wore 1 for the 1st time and i was a virgin
u just posted a question about sex with ur bf and being pregnant.. so obviously tampons arent going to hurt u
No they are small.
I wouldn't know as I don't use tampons. But I would assume if you put them in wrong it'd hurt. There should be directions on the back of the box.
It won't hurt but it may be uncomfortable until you get used to them. When they are inside of you, you cannot tell a bit.
I was never able to use anything larger than a junior tampon until I lost my virginity. I suppose my hymen was blocking the way and it just wouldn't go in. The cycle after I lost my virginity I was able to use a super-plus tampon with no problem!
I'm 17 , my friend told me that it didn't hurt when she put it in ...but she wasn't a virgin... My other friend tried it and she said that it felt uncomfortable... and she was a virgin. I also have tried it and it does hurt.
When you first begin using them, there is a slightly uncomfortable feeling, but it doesn't hurt, whether you're a virgin or not.

There's a myth that using tampons will cause you to "loose" your virginity, but it doesn't.
It might hurt a tiny bit the first time, but no it's no different for a virgin.
No, I find them easier. More comfortable. You can't even feel them. Don't be embarrassed about being a virgin...it's a good thing!! Wait til you're married.
