?How old should your daughter be to have a boyfriend?

Answer:
I don't think that girls should be allowed to date exclusively until they are AT LEAST 16 years old (for some girls, it should be more). They just aren't mature enough, and it only encourages them to grow up too fast.
I say about 16, assuming she is a mature 16 year old
16. My mom didn't let m date until then. It was annoying, but I understood her reasoning. Dating is for meeting people and finding a spouse. No 13 year old needs to be doing that.
There's no real answer to the question, and the reason for that is, everybody's different. You have to guage how responsible she is, if she's promiscuious (fools around on the sly), if she is trustworthy, etc. If she is all these things, well, hard to say. I know for fact that the girls of the new era seem to be having boyfriends at 14. Good luck to you and I'm curious to seeing the answers to this.
25!!

if i had a daughter that is!
Its when your daughter is ready. I mean when she thinks she is ready. It usually starts at 6th grade.
I think it's safe to allow your daughter a real boyfriend around the age of 15 or so. Make sure to sit her down and tell her what you expect of her, to make sure that she doesn't allow a boy to influence her to have sex and so on! If you feel the need to, only allow them to see each other in your home while you can supervise alittle. Or talk to the boys parents to make sure they are supervising them at their house! I can honestly say that talking to your teens and listening to them is a greater advantage to keeping them safe and responsible!
never :)
it depends on the child and parents I guess

I am hoping mine wont till at least 16
fingers crossed
How old was the first girl you were banging?

See its not the same when its your daughter?

LOL

Old enough to come in when she says she will be home, and old enough to have a few friends pregnant and not wanting to go there also.
Old enough to know, so the sooner you can teach her right, the sooner you can let her off her rope.
All of you will be much happier when you have that talk to talk with her and get it over with.

She will love you for it later.
well I'm only twelve and i have already had a boyfriend , but think of it like that well younger couples my age should be aloud to "go out" that's what us youngsters call bf's we should because were not serous we just are basically like really good friends and give each other love notes and hugs. but to date like more mature and stuff i would A a good age would be around 15 or 16 depending on the maturity of the child
I think dating should not happend until the individual is at the age to marry. Dating is to find a spouse. During the teenage years, friendship with the opposite sex should be encouraged to find out great attributes your daughter would like in a spouse. Dating in the teenage years ends up in break up because teenagers are young and are still finding their true self. Not dating in her teenage years will save your daughter a lot of hurt, disapointment, time, and energy.
at least 13 years old.
I have a 10 yr. old girl. Right now she tells me she has a boyfriend. I tell her, " Oh no you don't, you have a boy that's a friend, that's it. " Right now, I'm not worried, it's only kid stuff. I do believe though that you have to instill in them at an early age the facts of really having a boyfriend. She knows that she's not allowed to have one until she's seventeen at least and even then " we'll see." She knows what we expect of her and what we think should come first.
Depends on what type of boyfriend we're talking about. A school boyfriend, you know passing notes and holding hands shouldn't have an age restriction. Dates should be reserved till the girl is old enough to be trusted, anywhere between 14 and 16. I think group dates are great for kids up to age 16.
it all depends on the girl. Don't make it a forbidden thing though, that'll just make her dependant on boys=happiness for the rest of her life. My mom never stopped my sister and i from dating at any age, and we are both very independant in our early 20's, with no kids or husbands. We have healthy relationships with our boyfriends, and we're not needy and clingy. My friend's mom, on the other hand, forbid her from dating till she was 16ish, and now, she is needy, never moved on from her first job and minimum wage, and haad a baby with a guy she knew for 4 months. Trust her, and she'll be honest with you.
18 is the best age
How old where you!
i think its really immature of people to say 16, as if the day you turn 16 your all the sudden a mature teenager who can handle almost all responsibilities in life. my first bf was at 14. yeah it was kind of an immature realationship considering i was so young haha, but i believe if you truly like or love a person it can happen at any age. maybe you should talk to your daughter and see what shes feeling
She should be older than you and keep her knickers on and legs shut until then.
I think about 16 if she is mature. I have my hands full already because my daughter thinks she is mature enough to have one and she is only 12!! Boy is this going to be a long and hard 4 years!!
Before you answer think of it this way:

- Do you want your 16 year old daughter having some random school guys hard rocket in her behind the school toilets? Let's face it, school kids are doing it whether you want to believe it or not. Sorry for the bluntness, but I'm going for the shock factor here to get the message across.
- Do you want the risk of teenage pregnancy?
- Beside this, do you want the risk of disease?

Once you can answer yes to all three questions, then your daughter is ready to date at 16.
your daughter will find a couple of guys in her early teenage years and all it will be is puppy love nothing serious, so dnt stress, but kids have sex early these days so ide just make sure she has protection on her at all times
i think 15 or 16 is the best age to start having boyfriends
As old as she likes. As long as you explain to her what real love is. That is something my parents have always done with my family. You need to explain to her that real love is when you spend every waking moment missing a special person. When, every time you see them, you get butterflies in your tummy, and not to have s*x with them until you are ready.
I would say 15 or 16.But if her dad and 4 brothers have a say in it then probably never and if she does have a boyfreind I will feel sorry for him cause of my husband and my 4 boys and cause my daughter is very moody, demanding, spoiled, and very impatient and she ain't even a year old yet(will be Dec.10)
i'm not allowed to but i understand, she shouldn't date till she's like 16 dating is to find a spouse not to mess round

(13 female)
Personally I would like to say 13, cuz I'm 13 but I think 15 or 16 is a better age...

P.S. Boys aren't mature enough to feed the dog at 13, as far as I know, and so how are they supposed to have a girlfriend??
This girl at my school, if you ask me is kind of ugly, she's 4'4 looks like a gr. 4 and has a boyfriend in gr.10, like were does that come from??
My parents told me double date and 16 and if you feel comfortable single dates at 18,oh and im 18 and agree with them
Whenever day feel ready!!Which wil probably b about 12 bt iif day are more mature it cud b 17 or even 18!I tink we shud all stop sayin ages and let d kid decide!!
im 14 and as a kid i say 8th grade but i see why parents want their kids to date when they are 16 so make an agreement so both are happy.
