Holy Crap you are spoiled. I'll give you my i pod for a mom who would spend 79 dollars on a pair of shoes. Besides I pods can hurt your ears, I don't hardly use mine.

Maybe you could work out a way to do chores or do some work around the house to earn money towards getting iPod. Or, ask if you can go "halfsies". You pay for half (via work) and she pays for half.
wat do u mean by, 'i am not going to get a babysitting job', does that mean u cant, or u wont. if u wont then u dont deserve an ipod, and if u cant then give it time. wait till ur b-day or christmas or just wait a month. dont ask 4 anything dering this period. also try ur VERY VERY best in school (i mean straight 100s) and then she might consider it. also be responsible. do watever chores there r 2 do w/o her telling u to.if u have saved up b-day or christmas $$ then u might consider asking 4 the rest of the mony it cost and buy it ur self. it also depeds on how old u r. if u r under 11 then there is NO WAY u should get 1. if u r 12 then do wat i said. if u r 11, then ur chances r low. if u r over 13 then u should have 1 by now and/or should consider working!! i had a job when i was 11
You really don't need an i-pod. The shoes are a much better deal, believe me! You can get a small MP3 player at Walmart for $29. Ask your Dad for it, not your Mom. If she is supporting you by herself, then give her a big hug and a kiss for being so devoted to you and for the shoes.

you are a little brat. if my parents spent $80 on SHOES for me it would be better than any thing I get even at christmas time. my parents have no money and you should be thankful that your parents can even aford to buy you new shoes. most of my shoes cost less than $25 and I wear them untill they have so many holes you can see my feet.

Seriously; maybe your Mom can't afford that ipod. Quit badgering her. If she can't afford it, you're only making her feel bad.

and just as someone else said maybe she can't afford to buy you an iPod. They're between $79 & $250. Maybe you should thank your mom for the stuff she does get you and not ***** about the things she doesn't get you.
