Perhaps he has morals? Seriously though, it's not as uncommon as people think. Most kids only get involved in "stuff" because of peer pressure and their friends making them feel like they are abnormal for not beign interested. Good job to your friend for staying the pathand lettign it be known he's not interested! Peer pressure can be terrible!

He's a kid, don't rush him. Children mature at different levels at hit puberty at different times.Give him time. There is nothing wrong with him. As far as him not liking girls based on their appearance...he is a lucky young man who has someone that instilled the fact that their is more in a person than looks. It sounds to me like he has respect for girls, and for himself as well. Why do you little kids think about sex so much?? You are entirely too young to be thinking of sex, and watching porn. I think you could learn a lot from this friend of yours, just because everyone else seems to be doing it, doesn't mean you should. Would you like a boy thinking sexual thoughts about your sister or mom, or even your girlfriend??

There is nothing wrong w/him. He is just more mature that most guys his age. He is an ideal kid all the way around, because when he does start fooling around he wont be telling the whole world and the girls will so love him for that. You could learn a few things from him. Isn't it always better to be the exception to the rule than to be a follower. He could lie like the rest of the guys and act like he is getting some, but he is just smarter than you guys. He doesn't think with his pecker, he uses the big one: his brain.

Good for him. I'm not a guy, but I was never interested in that sort of thing... even at 20 I'm not interested in that... and there are plenty of adults out there (both women and men) that are still waiting for their future wife/husband to "do stuff" with. Seriously, this kid is awesome. I wish more teenage boys and girls didn't think about those things. There are so many more things to be concerned about. Like playing sports, playing in band, being with friends, or playing video games. Perhaps this guy is Christian and takes his faith seriously, but I wouldn't worry about your friend, he just has better priorities, and maybe you should follow suit. Maybe guys will realize that being sex-crazed is definitely not cool, because most ladies find that disturbing and would prefer a guy interested in other things.

He could be a private person who has no desire to discuss his sexual desire. While it's true, most guys that age spend as much time as they can discussing their conquests (which are mostly imagined) and their fantasies (which are imagined).
He may have other differences than just the privacy issue, but that's something between him, his parents, and a doctor.

He may be a late bloomer or he may have low hormone levels. If he hasn't started puberty by now he should see a doctor. If he has started puberty, his sex drive may be higher than he will admit to you.
