Husband had always said they didn't. Her physical proved they did. Father lived in the USA and visited them yrly for 10 yrs. In USA 05/2006. He works about 18 hrs per day however. Being the youngest (11) / only girl isn't easy. She's constantly interrupted and/or ignored (as am I and I'm an ADULT female) by all of the males in the house. I've advocated for she and I. I've intervened we sort of bonded. Exp: 15 yr old slapped her. She cried. I take away his gameboy, tell his father (who does nothing to him). But she won't speak to ME. Mumble replies to everyone else... but NO REPLIES to me. She's withdrawn for hours ignoring me totally (unless I get treats). Family says bio mom NEVER interviened. Trusted her boys to "handle" the girl. How would you deal with this? Husband says no counseling.

just let her feel however she wants, keep trying, be nice, be patient. she's just in a phase of her life where she's not sure how to deal. just be there for her, let her know you are and that she can come talk to you about anything.
