10 points for best answer. Gift help!?

It's my sisters B-day soon. Is there somthing i could make out of stuff that i would have at home?

Answer:
You should make her a shirt that says something like Don't mess with the best on the front and on the back #1 sis and her name. You can get iron on letters at Hobby Lobby or Micheals and decorate it with ribbons. Good luck.
hmm a card and if you have flowers in your yard or something, but if not then im **** out of ideas lol
Bake something and make a cute container to go with it!
them make and print a card on the comp.

I often bake cookies as gifts and put it in a container i decorated!! :)

goodluck!
The cheapest and easiest (if you have a week to allow for drying etc) is Papier mache.

Make a lidded box or a mirror/picture frame.

First make the structure - use strong corrugated card to make the object (with masking tape to hold it together).
Very easy - use white PVA glue (watered down) and paper kitchen towel (ripped into 1-2 inch strips/pieces) for best results.
Put 3 layers onto the the basic object, making sure the kitchen paper is well soaked with the glue from a brush.
When dry you can paint it with acrylic paints (try using colours that complement your sister's kitchen/bathroom/bedroom etc) - if you find the surface is very rough, sand it down lightly to smooth it off a little. Go to Google to get inspiration for themes to copy/refer to (such as stars/shells/flowers/hearts - happy stuff...or classy geometric designs perhaps) You could also put a coat or 2 of clear varnish over it to make it damp-proof.

You'll need approx 1 week to allow the various stages to dry but the actual making of it doesn't take long at all.

Have fun!
Maybe you could make her a card and her favorite kins of cookies, just make her something from your
ok guess i am not gettin 10 pts. but howold is she wat is she like. sh*t like that. :)D
You need to tell us the sort of stuff you have to work with! But there are lots of homemade stuff you can do... if you know how to knit you could knit a scarf in pretty colours... there's lots of really nice wool out there. I made my friend a Tshirt that said "Prove It." on it... the Tshirt was $4.99 and I had a Tshirt printing kit at home already. you could try that? If you have any spare shoeboxes or plain/blank photo frames, you could decorate both of them and in the shoebox maybe stick something in there you'd know she'd love, or even just some writing supplies or something... and in the photo frame stick a photo of you two together. Also cards are easy to make on programs like Microsoft Publisher, obviously.

Well I hope I've given you enough ideas... good luck :)
well depending on what age she is..you can do lots of arts & crafts...
i remember they had us whipping up the wierdest things in school lol..

if you have lets see 8 popsickle sticks & a puzzle you could care less for, some glue & paper...& then a picture of her or something she likes...you could make a puzzle picture frame...

glue the popsickle sticks side by side (only two, for each side of the frame) then glue them together overlapping...place the first set down...glue the corners where itll meet with another set, place that down then do the same with the other side...then flip it over & put glue on the back for the bottom piece...& then you will glue the piece of paper in place only glueing on 3 sides leaving one side so you can slip the picture in...your almost done after that.then you flip it back over to the front side...

this is where the puzzle pieces come in.start glueing the pieces everywhere til you like what it looks like...make sure the popsickle sticks are covered up...usually at least 2 layers of puzzle pieces works find...

when your done letting it dry then you can put the picture in.

hopefully that wasnt too confusing lol
Get and old binder, some glue (a glue gun if yo have one) some glitter and/or markers, some old fabrics, like shirts, pillow cases, something frilly and colorful, then dig out all kinds of old photos of you and her, together, and not together, then paste them on pages in the binder, with comments, and reminders, on what was going in the pictures and how you remember feeling at the time, things like that. Then cut up the fabrics, and paste and decorate the binder cover to make it look girly. Then you two will have your own special scrap book to look back on. You can use the fabrics you choose to make the letters on the cover too. Just draw the letters, and then cut them out and glue them on, I did this once with some old T-shirts, and cut different letters out of the sayings on them, it turned out really cool. Anyways good luck I hope this helped.
First off, happy birthday to your sister :-) I think it would work if you told us how hold your sister is but oh well :) There are many things that you can make for your sister on her birthday. Lets see.

You can make a bracelet! First get some string or yarn, which im sure you would have and if you don't ask your mom, if she ever sews up your clothes or something, shes bound to have some lying around! Then get some beads which you might have. If not you can get pieces of paper, decorate them all different and string them on the bracelet. Like a ton of different pieces of paper with different designs on em, all strung together!

Next you can make her a good card. Get markers, crayons, colored pencils and any other drawing stuff and get to making that card! Be sure to make it sincere and creative! Draw unusal designs on it, don't make it all sloppy, who wants a sloppy card!?

Oooh...you can make a coupon book! I always made these things for my mom. Get a bunch of papers and something to write with. Cut the papers out in the form of a coupon, ya know like a coupon for a free food or something. You can put as many things as you want on your coupons that you make. Here are some examples:
"One day of not doing any of your chores"
"Get the last cookie left"
"Don't have to clean your room for a day"
And other things that you can do for your sister

Ands theres also drawing the best picture ever. Everyone enjoys a great picture to look at!

Ooooooooh.if you would like this is also a really fun idea! You get pictures of your sister growing up from your mom or wherever you keep pictures of the family. Put a scrapbook together of your sister growing up. Like when she was 1 year old, 2 years old, 3 years old etc.! I made this for my brother once, he loved it! :)

There are plenty of other things that you can do for your sister! Email me if you still need some help at simplykaylaa@yahoo.com

Hope your sister has the BEST birthday ever! :-)
Love,
Kayla
