Friends and Drugs...?
"skaters and druggies" at school.
and basically all my really good friends
do drugs. =/. not really anything except weed. but still..
i hate it when they talk about "omgg i got so high last night"
im worried about them.
i've never tried drugs and i hope to not ever. i know in some of their cases they have bad lives and weed helps them feel better, but still. i don't want them to get hurt.
anyone know how i can say something? they're like my closest friends...
Answer:
seriously sweetie they probley wont listen even if you said all the right things, however try anyways just tell them how you feel and that you care about them and dont want to see them get hurt or in trouble, after that just pray they listen if not dont feel bad most people need to experience things themselves and somtimes they even need to hit bottom before they wake up. It may be hard to see this but all you can really do is be there for them as a friend andkeep yourself safe, i used to be on drugs and i can tell you i wouldnt listen to anybody, i can also tell you that i usually got myself into a lot of trouble and so did anyone else who hung around me, eventually 9 out of 10 times you become who you hang out with, so they may be your good friends but dont put urself in harms way maybe you should start hanging with some drug free friends, good luck!!
Most teenagers use drugs, especially weed, because they find it fun and enjoyable, or just to escape harsh reality for awhile. I'm not saying this as some psychological testing result, but from my life as well as people I've known. There isn't much that you can say to them. People rarely up and clean up because somebody talks them into it, and if they do it usually won't last. They have to want to be clean. You can tell them exactly what you said here, that they are very close to you and you just worry about them. Then let them know that anytime they need somebody, you're there. Be sweet, don't push, but just keep letting them know you care and you're there for them. That's the most you can do. Some old friends had a very close friend OD, he lived, but his brain was very badly damaged.he was never the same. They were still on drugs years later. Just be there, and maybe try to help them see some of the good things in their lives. No matter how bad life is, it could be worse, so they all must have something good, even if it's just each other.
just let them do whatever n when they realize it is a bad choice they will stop
try talking to them like asking them "why do you like to do drugs what good do they get from doing that?" Or try talking to them about your problem and see if they could understand probably you'll come to a solution.
Tell your parents and theirs. I have doe D.A.R.E. maybe you should ask about it.
you cant really stop them most teenager go through a stage.
all i can tell you is stay out of it!
ITS NOT GOOD
