well if you truly think he likes yu no shame in your game go for it but the answer may be no but worth a shot just say hey _____ do you wanna go out with me? If you guys are friends than it wouldn't be akward but if you arent it may be weird at first but its cool.
"Hey there you wanna go out?"
If he says, "No", slash his tires

first of all i don't think grls should be asking a guy out if that guy liked u and respected u he wud ask u out; but i have to ask u are u 2 like friends and hang out a lot or is it just one of those omg this guy is totally cute and man he has a great personality..if u are friends than he should (if he wanted) be compfortable enough to ask u out but for now i wud just stay friends
on the other hand if ur not frinds but really like a guy who has no idea who u are or maybe does but aren't friends, i think u should keep it a crush cuz grl...there are going to be other guyz out there for u...one that should respect u and be the one to initiate the date...or friendship who knows

If you really are sure you want to, I'd just go up and ask him. Or, maybe it'd be better to just tell him how you feel about him, and let him do the actual asking. DO NOT have one of your friends ask him, or send him a not through one of them. That is a very bad idea. It gets confusing when other people get involved. Good luck!
