Sweetie, just tell your mom exactly what you said here and let her know that when your nips show through your bra it makes you VERY uncomfortable, especially at school. Don't be embarrassed to tell your mom this, she will probably be happy that her daughter is ready for the next step and that you did come to her instead of not telling her at all. She may even know it herself and is waiting for the right time to approach you. But remember that you are the one that has to deal with the kids in school, which I'm sure you feel awkward around.
Wear a thicker bra or buy nipple pads.
Use an ace bandage.

I am a mother of 3 and I have the same problem. I like to wear the water bras from Victoria's Secret. They give you a little bit of boobs and they don't look fake. Just buy the smallest size. Good Luck!
a training bra would be a good idea. make sure you get measured even though ya think you know ya size as when i first got measured a few yrs ago it turned out i was wearing the completely wrong size bra!!
Your breast are small but your nipples are very near to the full size. You will also have them showing now that the weather is colder.
When you are older the nipples take on an attraction to men so you can either hide them or let them show.
just talk to a nice sases person in the store and they can find a better material for you that will help conceal but alot of nipples protrude to soem degree wven in the bes to of them depending on the size of your nipple

Yes. You can fit into a bra- just not a real one. Get a 28 sports bra from limitedtoo or gap kids or gab body (limitedtoo.com and gap.com). I assure you they will fit.

I was small at first. if you go look at bras, they have some that are padded and this will help you feel better, and also help with the nipple thing. good luck hun.

I personally would recommend to buy tops which are made of a thicker material this will prevent the different tones of your skin and nipples showing.

Just looked at the addition information and had to change my answer to be appropriate - at 11 it is a nice time to go look at bras. I gave a link above which is more suited for when you are a little older... go to the shops one time and if you are allowed ask your mum to let you go try on some different bras in a store, ask staff to help with the sizing. If in the U.K Debenhams and M&S does and great range and provides a measuring service. Once you find the right one have it held until you can bring your mum back.

if you are close with your mum i am sure she can be very helpful finding the right starter bra.

Buy a padded bra, the shops are full of them now. I also wear these and you cant see through them at all.
I like padded bras, so even during the winter nothing shows through. Ask your mom, she probably will be thrilled to help you find a bra. I remember when I was your age I was so embarrassed, and wore baggy clothes to compensate so I wouldn't have to say anything. Also, it's easier to change in gym class when you get to middle school with a bra on. My daughter is only 5 months but I can't wait for the day when she asks me for one! It's kinda of a woman bonding experience.

Next time you're at the store just bring it up. Say "Uh, Mum, I've noticed that I can't wear some of my shirts anymore because you can tell I'm not wearing a bra. Do you think we should try to get me one? I'd be sooo embarrassed if anyone else saw it too.". She'll have you in the dressing room trying them on in no time, no hassles.
Or... you could just put on the shirt that shows the absolute worst (like a thin white one) and go in and ask Mum how you look. She'll realize that you need one and bring it up.

No it is never time for a bra. Bras restrict blood flow and lymphatic drainage and contribute towards breast cancer. That is not me talking that is a good number of doctors and specialists. My partner has never worn a bra and she is now 50 and her breasts are as pert as ever. You are a young woman. You have larger nipples than men - be proud of the fact that you are a woman and be confident about your breasts and nipples. That is the truth of how you are - do not try or feel you have to cover that truth.
Just slip it into the conversation when you're alone with your mum i'm a teenager too and had the same problem only my mum noticed my nipples!! try wearing a padded bra.

Your breasts will grow slower than your nipples, don't be in too much of a rush to grow up physically.
Wear a bra, padded might giv you more confidence, but make sure that its the correct size.

dont be ashamed to ask your mum for a bra, girls mature at all different ages. Your mum will be pleased that you confided in her about some that is personal to you.
1) Put plasters over you nipples (so they don't show through your top) and
2) don't be embarrassed to ask your mum for a bra, You will find that she will probably be really over the moon and happy that her little girl is maturing and becoming a lady. It is a big thing getting your first bra (I remember how embarrassing this was on my first time), and shows that you appreciate your looks and what to look after yourself.
Also it will be great to go and do some mum / daughter clothes shopping :))
hi, you should go to a shop and getting fitted properly for a bra. maybe you could consider one of thicker material or a slight bit of padding to hide your nipples if you feel conscious about them. don't go getting an all padded, lift-up bra tho!
Have you got a friend, cousin, aunt etc who you could get to go shopping with you? or just try to drop it in conversation with your mum really casually... try not to feel embarrassed, we all get to that stage and are still here to tell the tale!
