Is it ok to skip breakfast after a big dinner the night before?

I guess everyone who said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day is right, but I never eat it because my school starts at 7:30 and I am just not hungry that early in the morning.
A breakfast in the morning give U energy and helps U concentrate during the school day. Your mom's right.

I think your mom means well though, because people need breakfast in the morning to have energy for the day. Your brother should take a snack with him if he is leaving the house, because before you know it he'll be hungry.
well it is ok.. but in order for you to stay way health.. then you might want to eat breakfast. breakfast gets your motabolism going and there for it starts to burn calories and fat faster!
Well if I still feel full next day I usually skip breakfast if I don't have a grumbly belly. Otherwise it makes me feel sick for days from overeating.

I usually skip breakfast anyway because i'm not hungry. Them I eat a larger meal at about 11:30 or noon, when I'm hungry. I agree, with you, it is okay to skip breakfast. Just eat when you're hungry and don't eat when you're not hungry.
Everyone skips breakfast now and then...no harm in that. Maybe your Mom should buy some cereal bars or other such stuff that you and your brother can carry with you and eat if you become hungry before lunchtime.
Children benefit from having at least some nutrition in the morning. If, your little brother feels "full", he should be at least drinking some juice or milk (chocolate works too) and having a slice of toast (my son eats half of a pb&j on many mornings). He shouldn't be running on empty at such a young age and some food is better than none!
