I was in your situation when I was in school. I ended up going to 13 different schools. A lot of them where great, but some of them were awful. Just make friends with people that stay out of trouble and try to be involved in a lot of activities. Hang in there and everything should be fine...Trust me, the experience makes you a stronger and more interesting person.
just act like you know what you are doing and be nice and you want to be on the teachers side (if they are nice)!
keep to yourself..let people come to you. Don't try and make friends let them come to you.hold your head up when you walk.careful of eye contact you don't want to look like you are arrogant but not scared either. You have to act like you are in prison.not to cocky not scared. my best advice to you is just go real slow. and pay attention to whats going on around you.Don't fall into a bad crowd.
i was kind of in ur sititon well when u say the school is bad do u mean like ghetto badi grew up in the ghetto all my lyfe but 4 u if thats ur case if ne body try to punk u stand up for ur self if u let people get u down they r goin to take u down the rest of ur scholl lyfe and dat will rly suck im a teen growin up on the east side of indianapolis in that dont rly mean ne thing if u no nothin a bout nap but well i hope i helped u if u have ne questions or concerns im me or hit me up on here or email me and p.s .like people told u dont try to make friends let them come to u it might take a while ,where r u from and dont try to im press if u have to do tthat to get friends we call that fake take care
Go to school for the education. Don't get mixed up with the wrong crowd. (All schools have a 'wrong crowd').
if its a ghetto school like the one i go to u gotta learn how to fight 1st so ask your mom to get u lessons

This might not be the answer you're looking for but: are there any religious schools around? Do you go to church? Can you talk to the pastor in your new neighborhood and tell hm that you want to go to a religious school and how would you find out about that? You can tell him just what you said - that everyone in your family has dropped out of that school. You might be able to get some funding to go to a Christian school - and in a calmer atmosphere, work hard and really have an educational future. Especially now that you are at your grandmother's.
Good luck! Get working on it now, don't wait until school starts at the bad school; then it will look like you are just making a 'social decision' to leave one school for another.
Go in and dont over do it- dont over inflate your persona and dont be snobby. be in the middle and at your age- you know in general what ones yu can pretty well mark off as the burns outs, the loosers, the jocks, the geeks, the gantas, the hootchies, etc. dont isolate or aim to be with just one group yet do be sybil and achange for each and every one to mimick for acceptance. i was a military brat and had 9 schools in as many years, hit up with the guidance counslor there used to be be goups i took part in like choir, perr counseling where i was hooked up with and upper classman until i was acclamated and then i was the "leader" when a newbie came in. and after school volunteer at a hospital or nursing home, child care center, soup kitchen to keep away from the riff raff. good luck.
