Daughters 11th birthday?

Any ideas (not too expensive) for an 11 year olds birthday, i want to give my daughter a party this year, but as her birthday is just before christmas and i have 5 kids money is kinda short, (and i use that excuse every year)but i would like to do one as its her last birthday with her primary school friends before she goes secondary school next september.

Answer:
As she's 11 - what about a sleepover party. Get her friend's to bring sleeping bags and they can all bed down in the living room. All you need to do is provide food and maybe a DVD.

I now it'll mean a very manic evening for you with 4 other kids, so maybe you could ask a friend to come and help. But 11 year old girls tend not to charge around the house like boys do - they'll be in the bedroom doing each other's hair and stuff.
buy her a scooter
my daughter has just had her 11th birthday, she had a swimming party at our local leisure centre, wasn't too expensive and the kids had lots of fun! or if you can't afford much, have an indoor BBQ at the house, music playing, sleepover, they'll love it! good luck.
Have a little party w/ her frendz just her best frendz and buy pizza and also if u want them 2 have a sleepover well yea mines was like on my 11th b-day it was sooo fun
Last year my 10 year old daughter had a party at the mall.
This is what we did. We watched a movie at the $1.50 movies, had some icecream at the food court (that's when she opened her gifts. Some girls gave her money to shop with), played some games in the arcade. And went to a few stores to go shopping. This was so fun. We had a total of 6 girls. The party lasted 3 hours. This party did not cost me any more money than a party at home. I paid for the movie, arcade (I think I bought $15.oo in tokens), icecream. The girls were to bring their own money if they wanted to buy anything at the few stores we went to. (All the girls brought some money) We shoped at the candy store, Bath and Body Works, Clairs, Icing, and one clothing shop. Then we met parents in the same location on the outside of the mall. It was a blast. The girls just loved it!!
The best parties are never fancy, just for her to have her friends round for a sleepover with snacks and a good movie is always really enjoyable. If money is short think of somthing fun that they could do in a park during the day. they will have a lot more fun doing simple things like that.
ok:
when i turned 9, 10, and 12 i had a Slumber party!
i looooove slumber parties and so did everyone that came.
they're pretty easy well at least i think so..my mom doesnt tho lol
you just invite a few of her friends, rent a video/dvd, have fun games, CRAFTS work well too o and so does BINGO! and other prize games.etc whatever ur daughter likes
oh and what i found out was that it didn't really need that much planning other than eating and the crafts and games, because we pretty much entertained ourselves, while some watched movies/tv others played truth or dare or just hung out.
it was so cool because i was talking with a friend that i invited to one in third grade, and she was telling me that that was the best party she had been to all year! a lot of others thought it was fun too, and definitley memorable.
hope this helps and tell ur daughter HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hi, I'm 15 and I remember be 11 since it was only 4 years ago. at that age a sleep over is a good go and not too expensive. Invite her friends get make up and finger nail polish, rent some chickflick movies (The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Freaky Friday, Parent Trap the list goes on) Twister, If you have a Disney Scene it game gosh my friends and I still play that lol Fondue is always a cool idea and then make your own sundeas set up a little mini bar with differant toppings for ice cream differant flavors etc... I remember gonig to sleep overs and some of them we would go to the movies or bowling before or during the sleepover Oh and order pizza can't go wrong with pizza :)

Another Idea more expensive is a hotel sleep over and then you have acess to a pool too.
ummmmmj i had a sleepover party i had a few friends over we all crashed in the living room and we had dvds and lots of things like that
What about a make over party, they can all do each other make up and hair and get dressed up. You could have a proper sit down dinner and that will make them feel really grown up! That doesn't have to be expensive.
