I think at 10 you don't need one, especially when you're the biggest in your class. Generally I'd say that 17 is a bit extreme, but perhaps when you're a bit older (like in high school, when you have your own money you can buy one). I think also she doesn't want you growing up so fast. Also, as you grow older, she might reconsider. And as your bra size grows, the bras actually usually have a bit of padding in them. I'd recommend padded bras when you're in middle school, and are smaller than most girls in your class. Its your descision, but you should wait until you're older (like middles school), before considering it. It's not weird for you to want one- I wanted one when i was your age too (except I was the smallest in my class, and still am), but although it may seem hard, be patient.

second of all your 10 years old you shouldn't even be on this site
third of all padded bras are for teenagers and adults. and a 10 year old would look really stupid wearing one.

why do you want your bra to look good? your 10 no one should be seeing it anyways. A38 means your a big girl not a big busted girl so chances are no one is even gonna want to see your bra when your 17 either!!
you need to realize that when you start making your breast look better, guys will notice. you want to wear a padded bra because you like the way you look in one. That's fine. But don't you think that will get you some extra attention or even get you labeled something you aren't? This is probably what your mother is worried about. You need to come to some agreement with her because comfort in a bra is a serious argument but maybe find a type that doesn't enhance your bust so that your mother can get some comfort knowing that you aren't looking for attention.
Do as your mother says. One day you will not have a mother, and then you will regret causing her so much worry with your childishness. If you want to be treated like a grown up, start behaving like one and showing respect for your elders and betters.
10 is definitely too young for a padded bra. I don't know if 17 is a magic age but I think that your mom is right about this issue. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear, but listen to your mom. Maybe in 3 or 4 years you can revisit the topic of a padded bra. And, who knows, mom may still be right then! But then again . . .
I think you should go take a look at the padded bras but, just sit down with your mom and talk it out. Don't whine or anything. Believe me. I know. *It doesn't work...!*
I'm a large breasted woman and I can tell you that padded bras aren't always just to make you look bigger. (I went for a bra fitting and I was horrified that the woman there suggested a padded bra - I don't need any more than I've got!! But she said it just smoothes them out and makes a nice shape under a shirt.)
Also some women use them to try to stop from being "nipply" (i.e. when cold) when it's inappropriate. (I've heard sometimes teachers wear them so teenage boys aren't rude about "the high beams"...)
At 10 I don't think you should be trying to look any different than you are. I have to agree with Mom on that count. You'll have years and years to deal with guys looking at you. Just enjoy being 10.
i am 13 i started early too. heres what i did..i went shopping with my best friend and her mom at target, and we bought some padded bras for me and her, they were our first bras.
17 is a REDICULOUS age to wait. its ok for a push up, but for a regualar padded one... go with friends to the mall, go into limited too, and try some on, get other stuff and when your mom askes what you bought, show her the other stuff so she doesnt suspect. ;)
Yea sorry sweetheart...i agree with mom somewhat...you may need a bra better than a training bra but padded bras are for those women who arent blessed with enough breast as they would like...and u wearing a padded bra would give off the ideat hat you are older than you really are and it may cause u to attract some very un-needed attention from older guys
The point of a padded bra is to make your boobs look bigger. If you already have the biggest boobs in your class, you don't need them to look bigger. Go ahead and try it, and if you don't like it then stop wearing it.
Ok yeah you are too young for that stuff... you are also too young to use FeelBaby.com... grow up another 3 years and then you will be old enough to use YA and you will probably feel big enough to not need a padded bra...
ok first off im with mom on this and second if your wearing a 38 a its not a training bra. i am a 38 cto a d that big you dont need a padded bra they are very uncomfortable for bigger busted girls trust me,thirdly you are 10 your a child get off this site and go play with your dolls
