Maybe ask if you can move seats. When I was in high school I had to sit next to a kid who did the same thing, turns out he had cystic fibrosis, which is a very serious, often fatal disease and he simply couldn't help passing gas.

Sit somewhere else in the classroom, try asking the teacher if she can assign you or him another seat.
ask the teacher if it is okay that you move seats since this is a situation that affects your concentration in class. Ask the guy how his bowel movements in the morning are, because it can be that he's constipated and when the shiit doesn't come out, he'd keep farting bad gas. if not it'd be smell-less.
ask to be moved to different seat, if teacher won't do this, go to counselor or principal to get help.
