I personally think it's better. You are taking your teen years to concentrate on more important things and it will turn out for the better.

No I don't think. I honestly think my sister was about 28 till she had her first serious boyfriend! Before that she rarely dated at all.
I think that is wonderful honestly! When you get married the preacher says, "You may NOW kiss the bride." Like it is to be the first time the couple kisses. How sweet is that?
I saw a wonderful Christian movie one time, I don't remember the name but it was about a father who told his daughter that he wanted her to wait till she was married before she got her first kiss. Plus he wanted the boy she kissed to have never been kissed. Ofcourse this seemed impossible in the world today! But one day she meets a guy and they become friends. He just happens to mention how he had never kissed a girl and wanted to wait till he met the right women. She knew then that was the man her dad had told her about. ; )
People today give their heart away to easily. I know I did because I couldn't wait for a boyfriend I got hurt in so many ways. I have told my 10yr old daughter something like this, "Think about when you are getting married & you give your heart to your husband. Do you want it to be a heart that has been broken a lot of time? Or heart ready and open for love."

No!!!!!! You're just one of the smartest ones in today's world. Thanks for having the brains to not give into the bad habits of other troubled teenagers! I just wish ALL teenagers would wait until they are 18 to even begin a relationship.

Well either its normal or im going to be wierd in a year and a half if i dont find someone. Id say its not weird different people take things at different paces, be glad to not be a cookie cutter image of the rest of society.
Nope. I'm 21 have been in a relationship for 2 years, never had a boyfriend before that, didn't date in high school at all, and I don't feel like I missed out on anything. I was upset about it at the time, but I'm happier now not having had all sorts of attachments that wouldn't have gone anywhere.

its not weird at all... i dont know why teenagers just want to go running all the time ,, they want to have a boyfriend at 12 ,sex at 13 and merried at 16 with 3 babys that sucks , enjoy your life be who you want to be. iam 20 i have a boyfriend but iam still virgin and i know i want to stay like that another 2 years because i dont think am prepared to have sex .
