of course you should date whom you wish, and not pay attention to your wifes advice on it,, nor form opinions about who she dates based on just age,,,,,, as to your daughter,, is she alone all weekend? or just for limited amounts of time during the day? does she feel unsafe when left alone?,,,, these are issues you need to discuss with her, and with your ex wife,,, if needed, perhaps just limit the visitation to certain hours of the weekends, or perhaps every other weekend
you should all sit down with a councelor and talk this out and always do what's best for your child
1. if she's alone she might as well be with you
2. she can't tell you who u can and can't date (if u got divorced it's not like u have to listen to her)
You can date whoever you want. It's none of her business at all. As for the leaving her home alone there is nothing you can do really. You can't just go get her if it's not your time. I don't think there is really any danger since she is 13 but you would think the mom would want to take better advantage of the time she has
Your daughter is old enough to be home alone at 13 but that is not the point of spending the weekend at moms, if she is going to be alone she might as well just stay with you. And yes it's ok for you date anyone you please younger or older. She cannot tell you who you can or can't date.
i would seek help from a counselor so no boundaries are inappropriately crossed..
Go through with the divorce if your wife is dating. You should live your life how you want and not base it on how your ex wife wants you to live, date etc... I would call your daughter to see if she wants to stay with you since her mother is going out. If she likes the alone time, let her be alone. If you want to date, go for it. man if your 52 you know what to do and obviously noone knows ya daugther on here nor your ex wife . so its best you go with your instinct because alot of peeps on here will jass play with you by bullsh...ing you. i see what you mean.divorce is not done yet cause you jass called her the seperated wife. personnally if i was you id Date who i want and yes leave my daugther decide whether she wants to be at mom<whos never there on weekends>ion weekends. if you have the time on weekends do everything you can with your 13 yr old daugther man.as soon she will be on her own leaving whoever hurt her by breaking up behind. enjoy her and spoil her while you can. by 13 I was staying home alone too, it depends on the maturity of the kid. Your ex does not have the right to corol who you date, especially as far as age goes. If you were dating someone abusive to your daughter or into illegal activities then she could take you to court to take away custody but she can't do more then that. If she is suppose to have your daughter on the weekends then you need to have permission to take her back home.
You can definetly date someone because she's your ex and dosen't control you.Your daughters 13 so she's old enough to choose who she wants to live with.
