What age do you still consider?

Erm, I turned 19 recently, and I still feel like a kid in a bit of a way, but I feel more mature because I have bills, go to college, am in a serious relationship, and whatnot. Anyways, do you consider being 19 still being an adolescent or young adult? Some people say they still consider themselves adolescents or teenagers until 21, not that this is very important..I'm just curious as to what you all think.

Answer:
when you grow up,you will so miss your childhood life. Hmm. i guess beyond 18,you're considered as an adult.
a adult for sure but i live in canada
Very young adult. Live life to the fullest.
well mel i was an adult at 16 and a mommy paid rent and all so it is what it is im now 21 and i dont think ill ever feel old lol
If you got everyday worries and hassles, then you should concider yourself an adult, my pop always told me, "you'll know the difference when you have to do somthing to get what u want and need"
a kid with a sex habbit.
its all in the person....if ur doing ur thing on ur own then ur not a kid....a kid isnt as mature as u r....but for a 19 yr old ur doing very good....im 23 married for almost 4yrs with 2 kids & i dont feel my age...now a days i dont see me as an age but me now to me an age is nothing but a #...
I'm 23 years old and your 19. You are an adult except you can't buy alcohol beverages. You pay bills, are in college, you can go to clubs, buy cigarettes if you're a smoker. So yes you are a adult and I guess you could say a young adult.
I think it depends more on the person. How one acts takes large steps into the direction of what some may think of a person. I'm 30 and some of my peers are still adolescent in their actions, and though they are late 20 somethings to early 30 somethings, if you didn't know their ages you would think that they where 17.
Purely subjective. The term "young adult" is ridiculous. As a 30 year old speaking to a 19 year old...you haven't seen anything yet. But, I don't know you. Purely subjective.
You are a young adult. Although, I have to say that I'm 32, married, the mother of two with another on the way and I often don't feel like I can possibly be old enough for all this responsibility. Sometimes I'm in awe that I'm a mom. I am a very responsible person but most of the time I feel like I'm not a day over 18. Not even turning 21 made me feel more "adult".
19 is still considered a teenager but i would say you are a young adult.
I am 27 years old with a 5 year old son and i still feel like i am 16.
i have a friend same age with you with 2 kids ..so if you consider you are matured enough carry on your daily life normally ..
If you have to ask, you're not grown up. I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm just saying that as you go along and experience the different joys and horrors of living you finally reach a point, whatever your numeric age, when a question such as, "Am I an adult" is not one of your worries.
Myself I'm still a kid at heart at 40 but it depends on the persons. Most people don't mature until they have faced the hard facts of life like bills, school or starting a family.

Wait till you have your first child and you'll see how fast you mature.
17+ young adult!
Ha, I'm 26, married, and pregnant, and some days I wonder how I got here and like I'm a kid playing a really bizarre version of "House".
you're a young adult in my opion training for the Loooonnnnggg run.
I think you're a young adult. God knows when I was 19, I had many responsibilities too. But it was my choice. Some people say that you will miss your childhood, but I enjoy my freedom so much more. You're not a kid anymore if you have those reponsibilities
im 18, mature, sensible, can make my own decisions but i am still all bout havin fun!
I guess u just get more responsibilities...a 12 year old kid could be considered as a young adult because he/she may have responsibilities...life's hard!

Merry Xmas!
you are a young adult.
I think 18+ is an adult.
Of course everyone is still only a kid at heart and that transition can be rough. You've become a young adult; I mean you have the ability to sit around in with the big boys & girls if you're a jailbird. But being adult is kinda tight. You suddenly appear older to other people also.
Responsibility can be tight.
I consider high school grad's adults or fresh meat...
when I was 19 I was working, going to college and paying my own bills...I considered that my first step to adulthood. I miss being a teen though...sometimes I think I had a lot more freedom as a teenager then I do as a wife and a mother...
Everyone matures at different rates. I'll be 20 soon and i can tell that just in the past year and a half I've matured a lot. I have friends that i graduated with that are married now and they act more immaturely than I do. Then I have friends that are younger than I am that act like they're 30 years old. Then I know 24 year old guys that I believe will never grow up. So, I wouldn't worry about it.. We have the rest of our lives to mature even more and deal with mature situations. You are in college, have fun and if you are in a playful, immature mood, be immature and play around. Don't worry what everyone else is doing : )
hun my sister is having a baby and she is 19 so i think that you should go for it...
