THE pill! !!?
Answer:
Tell her that ur periods are very uncomfortable and that u would like to help them. Just talk to her and if she wont dont it then tell her u need to go to the doc. beacuse it is painful and u never know when ur period is going to come.
Tell her you have irregular periods and want to be on birth control in order to get them regular.
If you're not having sex, then tell her you're not. Just tell her you've heard that it helps regulate your period and that's why you want to start taking it. Just assure her that when you do start having sex (If you're not already) that you will definitely tell her. Gain her trust and she should be totally comfortable with it.
If you mother is concerned about you being on the pill you might want to have her speak with your doctor so he can tell her that many girls use the pill to regulate their periods and to help with acne (only ortho tri-cyclen helps with acne).
you are too young the take it. whether you have sex or not.
use other alternatives, ask you mom to accompany you to a doctor.
and dont worry much, there are a lot of women who are irregular and they dont die or they still have kids (if thats your concern)
Yeah, right, I want to start drinking liquor because I heard it is good for my heart and I want to play computer games because it is good for my hand-eye coordination. I want to eat chocolate because it is good for my mood. Just tell your mom the truth and she might surprise you.
My mom told me that I should go on the pill. And I was your age.
(it can make your breasts bigger, which my b/f likes) I am still on it. I am 16 now.
ME too! I really don't know how to explain it to my mom and I don't know if we have enough money for birthcontrol. Not only do I want lighter periods, but my boyfriend and I are getting fairly serious and I'd like to have the pill as a precaution when 'the time' does occur. Any advice would be nice for the both of us.
Just sit down and talk to your mom. You have to gain her trust. Tell her that its not for sex, and if you started, you two would talk. You need to have a good relationship with your mom. At least ask her to take you to the doctor where you two can talk about your options with your doctor. Personally, I don't take the pill (I'm not that young, either), but I know a lof of girls your ages do.
tell her u want to have a more controlled period, dont even mintion sex or else shell think thats all u want it 4
Try to talk to your mom first. Sometimes parents get a little over the edge when you mention "The pill". I know I'm a step mom, and wouldn't like it either for my 14 yr old step daughter, however I would do it for her. Here is a website that will tell you if your state you live in will help you (if she does get a little over the edge) with out her permission. If your state has no restrictions you can go to the health department or a planned parenthood near you.
