Having a Blood Test. Will it sting ?
How bad will it sting. So scared & don't want it.

it's not as bad as you think it will be...just close your eyes, take a deep breath in and clench your jaw...it will be over before you know it!!
I just had mine done last week.I hate needles as well..but what I do is just look away and find a happy place, lol...
nah but seriously it doesnt sting..ull be in and out of there...its actually real quick...ull be fine.
Ask to have a butterfly needle they don't hurt alot. Close your eyes and bring something to squeeze just in-case. It takes a few minutes and you are all set. HTH!!
Mine never hurt like I thought they would. It was always a relief, cuz I was so nervous about it. My blood tests were painless, the most painless compared to anything else involving a needle. I could feel it in there if they moved it slightly while changing the tube or something, but not in a painful way at all. That's just my experience though, and trust me when I say it was painless, cuz I'm one of those people who really dread those things and hate pain.
the worse thing you can do is tense up and squeeze... bring your ipod and sing while your getting it done which will draw your attention to your favorite song.. don't look at the needle the whole time they are doing it... that's what i do. I use to be hella scared of needle now, they don't bother me.
i got a blood Test a couple years ago when i was only 12 and I'm terrified of needle i just cant stand them but i got it and it really wasn't that bad well it stings a little but its quick and they spray your arm with a number so it wont hurt:) God bless you.
Slighty, but not much. Distract yourself with chatting, or something. It's good to get over this-- there are lots of needles in life! Good luck.
