At 12, it's better to get her gift certificates instead of buying something. That's the age where they really start to get picky and unless you're also a 12-year-old girl, it's just easier. Trust me.

well, i'm also 12 and i what i want for christmas is also clothing from those types of stores. i think the best thing to get is a giftcard. they can chose what they want and like it too
Ummm. How about a makeup set? Girls love makeup! How about a visa express card. It's a card that she can go ANYWHERE that excepts visa. And how about a givt certificate to a beaty salon to get a pretty hair-do and makeup?!

i want to get a black or BLUE slvr. im probally getting a cingualr one for christmas which has itunes. i think you should get her the phone. its really worth it. you get a digital camera ipod texting internet and phone calls all in one sleek phone. its all worth it. im trying to convice my parents to get me one. its all i have asked for. there isnt much to want at 12 years old so if i dont get it i will be crushed.

Gift card to your children is not the way to go,when me and my cousins get money from our relatives for Christmas we just go to wal-mart and buy bags of worthless crap.Try to avoid the PS3 and Wii in my opinion because it might cause a fire like the Xbox360 member those?so maybe something like a year old,electronics maybe but make sure what your buying.

Does she have any hobbies like decorating her bedroom or painting or anything like that? When I was twelve I loved "redecorating" my room. Obviously that is expensive for major items, but not for art or lamps and stuff.

Does she have a game boy advance? My 13 yr old step daughter loves hers. Or CDs are always good. Movies too - but sometimes its hard to figure out which ones are good for that age - depends on what rating the parents allow. If she has a video gaming system t home get games too.
My stepdaughter's list consisted of a charm bracelet, and racing and fighting games...lol.. and money of course. Money will always be accepted by any kid of any age :)
