My sister used to shoplift (not saying you should, I'm just telling the story!) so she used to steal thongs and wear them all the time. My mom noticed them in the wash and really didn't care.
I started wearing them because underwear lines are gross. My mom never said a thing to me when she noticed.
If your mom makes it a big deal tell her you hate underwear lines.
It's just underwear, why would you have to explain anything? Next time your at the store, tell her you need new underwear and put the ones you want in the basket, if she says no, then wait till you can either buy them yourself or wait until she thinks your old enough to wear buttfloss.

They were butterfly thongs...the kind that are kind of thick. Then I slowly worked up to thinner thongs. I was 14 when I first started wearing them. Honestly I've never wanted to wear them. I'm 18. And I think that girls that wear them usually look trashy when you see there thong picking out of there pants and you always do.

well i never told my mom i wanted to wear thongs i just used my allowance and bought them myself. I started wearing thongs when i was 14 now i'm 20. she knows i wear them now.

Well I didnt really ask my mom, when we went shopping one day, I just went over to the thong department and picked up a few...My mom didnt seem to mind...I was 12...She just asked how I could stand them up my crack..I just laughed and said it's better than having your underwear line show...Underwear lines are disgusting...!
