Chirstopher sound nice, but i dont know about Max, i mean, is nice but it does not mach with Chistopher at all, i have a friend that hes name is Chistopher but he does not have a midle name, for more names go to yahoo searc and write baby boy names list or somethin like that and you will get diferent web sites where you can find a nice name.
I am not too fond of the name, personally. Maybe just making your son a junior would be better.

Flip it around and hyphen it Christopher-Max. Not as a middle name, but as a whole name. It is stronger that way and flows better.

I think it sounds like a very nice name for a boy! I like the original names instead of the made up ones that they have now a days. Like what kid wants to be named stream or rock! Congrats by the way!
Maybe try Maxwell Christopher. It flows a little better. Or even Christopher Maxwell, but then your child would have the same first name as your husband, which may not work well.
