Do you like the name Caelan for a boy?.?

Answer:
sorry i dont .. what about caden

good luck
Is it pronounced Colin?

My brother in law's name is Cailean pronounced Colin and I love the name. It is the Gaelic spelling of the name Colin, and it is so unique.

I really like the name, both spelled his way and the way you listed. Unique!
When I looked it up it only came up as a girl name that meant skinny. But I suppose it would still work, it is so unusual that you could start a new trend. My sons name is ryan which now is becoming a popular girls name.
I like it, it's unique without being completely confusing and silly.
I like the spelling of it. I'm not too sure that it sounds like a boy name out loud. It makes me think of this girl named Kaylin. It's okay if it's said Kalin, but I don't like Kaylin. Good Luck!
i think it sounds like a beautiful name
yes i like it but i like it better spelled with a K
No. About 100 other boy and girl names start with the K sound and end with the N sound, and they all sound exactly the same.
I asked the same question yesterday. I love the name for a boy, but it's classified as a girl name. I was worried about the "Kaelyn's" in his classroom so hubby and I nixed that name. Although, it historically has been a boy name (Irish) and means skinny lad. Last time I checked a lad meant a boy not a girl...
yeah it is a good name for a boy.one of the reasons i thik it is a good name for a boy is because the name is not common like other names . and its original !My sons name is Jadith and the reason i named my son Jadith is its not common it is original and its speacial like Caelan i think the name Caelan is the perfect name for your son cause its special

I think Caelan is the perfect name for your son!
Yes, it has a nice ring to it.
I think it's really cute, and also not so common yet not totally weird. Go for it!
I would spell it Kaylan.
it sounds like a girls name and I wouldnt know how it say it unless someone told me.
Yeah I definitely like it, very unique and it sounds like a strong gaelic name. Steph x
I love it and I love the spelling!! If I have a little girl i'm going to name her Caela.
That is actually my daughters name. I spell it kailyn. I first seen the name and liked it for a boy, but it was spelled Calen. I liked it pronounced (cow len).
I have a girl named Kaylan Brooke, so I am partial. But I do indeed believe it is a very neutral name.
I like it and normally I like names spelled with a K instead of a C. But in this case to keep it masculine I would use the C. Caelan is in my baby name book under Boy and is a form of the name Nicholas. I know how you feel with people telling you that the "boy" name you have picked out if feminine, even though is is a boys name. A couple of weeks ago i asked about Adison and the replies were crazy saying it was a girls name even though it means "son of Adam". Ignore what some might say about his masculinity being tainted by his name, he will make the name not visa versa.
IT'S A VERY GOOD NAME.
