yes thats a really nice name. i think its really origninal. I'd prefer an original name but when i hear names that nobody really has they sound really chavvy like Paris
Only as a nickname -- Zaphene? (Like Daphene)
Give her something that won't make her change her name 18 years later.
Thats a different name. Im not sure. I also like names that are not common.
some ideas:
skye, poppy, macy, mimmi, petal, pearl, carmen, iona, india, etc
Choose a name that u really like there are lots of books for babys names.
good luck
No. I would call her Eric.
Zaphie is unique, but might make it easy for other kids to tease her. I've always like Sophie.
no sounds a bit too space age for me, I like the boring names like Olivia or Gemma
no. i know some people with children with grate names.
i like the name ellie-may. or take a unusual name like celete for example or even scarlotte.
thats not a good name for a car, id call her little sheba, but for a baby girl zaphie is good, but sorry to say, i belive the Z, shouldent be in there. what about "clowey",.i dunno u choose
I think you may have possibly got this from the TV series Absolutely Fabulous.
Although Saffy in that is actually called Saffron.
Have you considered calling the girl (provided it is a girl of course) - Zaffron. You can then shorten it to Zaffy no problem.
Different enough to be unusual whilst not being embarrassing.
:~}
Oh, by the way - Congratulations to the expecting parents!
:~}
:~}
Ummm...no.
I quite like Zaffy it's nice but you have to think about how she is going to feel in 20 years time when she is older
Lexi, Leigh, Zoe, Ella, Emily would be one of my choices
Good luck
no it sound a bit like a swear word in a certain language. i will call her Imani. it means something like faith.
No, I like Anita or Nicole...
personally I'd give her a name that could be used in different ways - I called my daughter Lianne - so if she chose she could be Lianne, Lee or Anne - I was hoping for Lee - but she chose Anne - with the emphasis on the last e - so said Anna (sorry she lives in holland and they always sound e's as a's at the end of a word)
Cute, unique, and pretty.
i would call her Elizabeth, Natalie, Vanessa.
if it were a boy i would name him Zachary (Zac)
No. I like Nikita.
No,
I would call her Dave
ZAPHIE IS UNUSUAL AND INTERESTING- I LIKE OTHER NAMES I LIKE ARE ZUKIA AND LEIA
no way. people will call her zaffy taffy. use zoey or daphne instead.
sounds like a freakin duck!? my answer is..no.
She will go through school being called "Daffy". Don't do that to your child.
cute name,it's unique.think of back when you where a kid.remember when the kids would find anything thing that would rime to there names?well...kids will be kids but they are mean at a young age.so you think of what is best for her and a name that you will like at the same time.but i still do think the name is cute :)
congrats!
Zaphie? Now that's an unusual moniker if ever I saw one. You know something? It's starting to grow on me. Still I need to have a think about that one.
honestly no, but i might name my dog that.
zaffy seems cool snazy and easier to spell
