Charisma Anne or Charisma Jane?

I don't like the name but Jane is pretty.
I'd still go with Anne...lol. My mom's middle name is Ann, my middle name is Ann, and my oldest daughter has my middle name as well. I just think it's neat to keep the middle name as a family name.
I personally would think Charisma would be a hard name to live up to... but if you are set on it... I think Charisma Jane flows better...

Jane-seems to fit better, the funny thing is both names have very similar meanings. jane-mean full of grace and anne means gracious one. that's crazy that you both chose names that mean the same thing. you could call her CJ for a nick name!

Sorry, but I think they are both a bad idea. You are dooming this child to being teased for the rest of her life - or until she changes her name.
Research suggests that names matter, and while it's nice to think that naming your child "Charisma" will magically make her attractive to others, with a pleasing personality, it's more likely to make her a target for ridicule.
You could actually be hampering her success - check out "Freakonomics" by Steven Levitt and co-author Stephen Dubner on the subject of how prospective employers will view this on a resume.

Tough choice without the last name, but Anne seems to flow well. I love the name Charisma - reminds me of my favorite Buffy Actress Charisma Lee Carpenter. Which I think is a very attractive name, her nick name was Chrissy.
Honestly, I don't particularly care for either. I agree that it's your decision, but I've always felt that by giving their children silly names, people are placing their own whims and fancies above concern for the child. Perhaps it is sad that people are so frequently judged by their names, but it is the way the world works.
Charisma Jane: Charisma is such a pretty name so having a plain name like Jane to follow makes the name that much prettier as it is not a mouthful to say :)

My middle name is Ann, but I love love love the name Jane! Especially for a middle name. My husband would never go for it. Charisma Jane sounds and looks better. i think the end "a" in Charisma and the A in Anne kinda clashes. Good Luck !
