Anyone heard of Mychael (pronounced like Michael the boy's name) for a little girl? How about Synier (pronounced Shan-ae)?

if its pronounced "ma, kell" or maybe ma-kell-a then yea that would be pretty.
My sisters name is Mikal ...but it is pronounced like Mick kelle.your Mychael makes me want to say it like that. I do like it! Good Luck!!
personally i hate the name michael (no offence). and Synier will be pronounce like(sin-ear) not (shan-ae) so i think you should deffinatly go with:
------------------------------ Shane ------------------------------...

(for a girl of course)
hope this helps& Congradulations!
These seems a little tortuous. Maybe.

Maya Kylie or Maya-Kylie

Something that achieves sound you want with two names

The other spelling sounds like Miguel and I don't think Synier would be pronounced right.

I am not a big fan of the boy's name Michael to start with. Synier isn't bad.

If you're looking for a cute, kinda boyish name that works for a girl, I like "Ryan."

If you want to go the other way and do something really feminine, what about "Lilly"?
Mychael looks nice.
when thinking of baby names, think of your baby...really unique names may be frustrating for her when she starts going to school and starts making friends because everyone will ask her to repeat her name or ask her again how to spell it

honestly, i don't like mychael
shan-ae sounds good but you might wanna try a different spelling

just my opinion
I think Mychael could work but people would think it was a boy when they heard the name. I like Synier. I have never heard it before but it sounds pretty and not many other people would have it. I have a suggestion. I think Emma Rose is really pretty.
sorry but i dont like them but mychael sounds pretty unique for a girl
I've heard of girls being called Michael, but I don't like the idea, and I don't see how the "y" makes it any more feminine.

Synier doesn't look anything like the pronunciation, so I have to recommend against it. Imagine the frustration your daughter will feel EVERY DAY in having to correct people.

I have a friend whose parents gave both her and her brother unusual names, and I recently asked her about this topic. She wholeheartedly disapproves. Her brother's first name is spelled Cristopher...In kindergarten, the poor child was sent home for arguing with his teacher about how it was spelled, and he was the one doing it right! And everywhere we go, if my friend meets someone new, she has to repeat her name, and say, yes, just like it sounds, uh-huh, yep, that's my name! And the comments from people are never "Oh, what a lovely name!"...They're more like, "Oh, that's interesting" and "Your parents must have been very interesting people".

I'm sure your daughter will be much more appreciative of a name that's not so "out there". Different is great, but weird is just weird.
I have a different opinion. My friens say it is weird but i like the name Jerrica pronounced like Jeriku. Or Jerry.
I thought the female name to Michael was Michaelia(Mickayla, etc.)
There are two actress with the first name Micheal

It is your daughter, If you want Michael spell Mychael go ahead

Good luck with your child
i like the name mychael, for a boy but for a girl i think that mykayla would be cute, you could have michael and mykayla! so cute, that is just my opinion!
how bout these 3. 2 girl names Chunka Lee and Gamy Lue. For a boy Guner
She would have a lifetime of correcting the spelling for her name. Legal forms and documents could become a nightmare for her.
Terrible.
I KNOW A GIRL NAMED MYKAL...PRONOUNCED LIKE A BOY MICHAEL...AND SHE'S BEAUTIFUL! SO I LOVE THE NAME.NEVER HEARD OF THE NAME SYNIER. NOBODY WOULD EVER PRONOUNCE IT RIGHT.

Try these and see how you like them
I haven't heard "Mychael" but I have heard Mechell (prounounced mee-shell), which I think is a very beautiful name. And I absolutely love it when names are spelled a little funky, so of course I like Synier. My sister-in-law named her daughter "Ajraya" (pronounced Uh-Dre-Uh) and her son "Ajryan" (prounounced like Adrienne). I love both of thier names.
hmm, never heard Michael for a girl.
But my cousins name is Makaila (ma-kayla)
and she loves it.

and the bottom one pronounced shanae... pretty.

but no one is ever going to pronounce her name, or spell it.

dont name ur baby something weird or else when its older it will get made fun of believe me i know my name is folkart
Mikal or Mikayla is pretty. I've heard Micah for a girl recently, too. Shanae, Shaina or Shae is cute. I wouldn't spell it Synier, that's almost unpronounceable!
Michael is not a unisex name, at least not that I know of anyway and she will get teased badly. Try going with Michaela pronounced... Mick Kay La... that is sweet and a little unique instead of the traditional Michelle. Synier, I would want to look at that and sand Sign Near... Shanae...what's wrong with that spelling?
Those names are not really my taste, and I think that the spelling is a little odd, too. Think of when the girl is older - kids might make fun of a girl named Michael, and teachers may not be able to pronounce Synier. There are a lot of things to consider before naming a child.
How about a name that won't be a problem for the child, either in spelling, meaning or pronunciation!

Would you name a son "Sou" to be a male "Sue"?!? Don't pick a name for your kid because you think it will make YOU cool!
