1st baby and havent got any idea what to call it help?
Answer:
Try www.babynamer.com or similar sites, and these can help you find names. If you are stuck for finding a particular name, then you could try putting in a meaning of a name you like, or names of a certain ethnic origin which you like, and this should help narrow down your search.
Remember, take your time to choose a name - your baby may be coming in less than a year but this is a name which they will have for the rest of their lives, so take as much time as you need and don't feel rushed.

I had this problem! We bought a book of baby names and both of us went through it seperately and then picked the ones we liked. We then compared lists and talked about how the names would sound with our surname and with middle names etc. We only finally decided once the baby was born - lots of "are you sures" when we were finally alone with her!
Congratulations!
Ive gone with Joseph Charles for my first son (due any time noow!) I think you should choose a name that means something to you, family or someone you're close to. I've named mine after my grandfather who passed away the same week he was conceived. Try to avoid fashionable "faddy" names cos your child will live with it for the rest of his/her life.
I have a gorgeous baby boy called Anthony and a big cheeky boy called Ryan. Both are lovely but I also like Alfie for a boy.
My nephew is ace and is called Connor and his beautiful big sis Rebecca.

Get a Book of Names. Go with what you and the Father like.Look at Celebs' and someone you admire. Congrats!
Firstly congratulations immy. I believe a name should have a positive meaning, you could name your baby after someone in your family whom you love or has had a positive impact in your life, you could name them after your hero but whichever name you choose, let it be meaningful so that the child would grow up loving their name because of what is means or the historical background attached to it.
Congratulations!
