please, nothing too fashionable like Kylie which will be out of date in five years' time and will leave her saddled with an 'old fashioned' name. There are classic names, Charlotte, Caroline, etc., which stand the test of time and also give an impression of 'class'. You have to consider that when your daughter is older she will be judged, sometimes, on her name alone, like when she applies for a job. Someone will read her CV and decide whether to interview her or not - now a Sarah stands a better chance of being invited than a Fifi, I think. It's boring, but true - the name you have often gives you a slightly better chance in life.
So stick with the tried and tested classics, and resist the urge to follow Bob Geldof's trend (Fifi Trixiebelle, Peaches, Pixie, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily .. what on EARTH were they thinking? Were they on drugs? yes, probably .)
