What's a good (boy) middle name for Odin?
Any ideas?
:)
Answer:
I really hope you have a Norse background. Otherwise, Odin is going to catch some heat on the playground.
In Norse mythology, Odin was the AllFather. King of Asgard, he ruled over all of the other gods. His sons were Thor and Loki. Since Thor was the good son, you might go with that. Other good "gods" that come to mind were Balder, Heimdall, Hogun, and Volstagg.
You may also want to consider a more common middle name. Odin Henry, Odin Brian, or even Odin Norton.
Good Luck,
charles
Odin is a really dumb name, poor kid!
I like the name Damien Antonio better
Matthew.
My son's name is Aaron Matthew. When I said Odin out loud it was quickly followed with Matthew. :-)
Odin Andrew, Odin James, Odin Daniel, Odin Cameron
I also like Odin Damien and Odin Antonio.
Odin Heath
I like it. It sounds good (strong) - but maybe not so great in the baby name finder. Here's a link: http://www.babycenter.com/babyname/index...
Peace!
How about Odin Damien?
or Ray
Odin means 'one' - as in the number - in russian. Odin Christof or Christopher is a nice combo though..
Odin Cain
Odin Orpheus
Odin Taylor
Odin Chuduthat
Odin Chuloveme
Odin Chuwannago
Lee
Odin Lee
Odin Nicholas
I'm sorry, I like Antonio but everytime I hear Damien, that old horror movie comes to mind.
James, Matthew, or Brian. Here are a few ideas. When choosing the middle, don't overlook the initials.
Odin Orion
Maximus
You name a kid Odin, his middle name better be Zeus. Or Thor.
Dave
Don't go with Damien, people will naturally think of the "devil's son." (I wouldn't, but I know most people do. Pretty name, but a lot of people won't accept it.)
I really like Odin! It's original but not too outlandish. Here are some nice suggestions for a middle name...
Odin Alexander
Odin Michael
Odin Anthony
Odin Antonio
Odin Christopher
Odin Joshua
Odin Matthew
Also, try using a family name as the middle name. My middle name, Marie, is after my great-grandmother's first name, and therefore has a special meaning to me. Odin (if you do choose that name) will like growing up with a "keepsake" like a family member's name as his middle name.
Best of luck!
I like the name Antonio Damien better. But my most favorite is Antonio Dominic. And I like the name Odin Gray. Or you can spell it Odin Grey.
i am not sure i might be pronouncing it wrong but i think Thomas sounds good write me and let me know what you think
I agree with the other reviewer that said Matthew flows best. I really like Odin Matthew! Damien reminds me of that creepy movie where that old lady walks on the ceiling...ewk.
Cernunnos
Odin Xavier
Orion... I know it's two o's but I think it flows nice.
I like Odin Loki or Oldin Aden...depends on how it sounds with the last name.
NoL-iac...pronounce as Kee-luere. It's a French name.
Odin James
Odin Daniel
Odin Jeffrey
Odin Michael
Reeves
Rodin
