♥ Actually I think is it a cute name. One of my friends is named Leigh although she hates her name.
I think it's ok. No one will mispronounce it.

Would pefer Sammual-Lee or Bailee.
That spelling is nice, but overall it mgiht be androgenous. My main concern would be it's popularity. There are alot of young little Leigh's running around.

I really dont think Leigh is a very nice name but it does vary from person to person. I sort of like Leigh for a guys name but not for a female. But every body has a diffrent saying.

I don't care for Leigh, it's too complex, if someone isn't familiar with it, they could pronounce it Lee or Lay or Leah. Leah is nice, how abour Mary Leah? Or Mary Lee?
The name Leigh is very pretty and it has two very good meanings, one being plum and the other meadow and we know how pretty meadows can be; especially when flowers are in bloom and dotting it and we also know how sweet plums can taste.
It is more like a nickname. Very odd!
I like the Lee spelling better. It's my husband's (and future sister in law's) middle name (how weird is that? My brother and I marrying people with the same middle name!) and I'll probably use it as a middle name at some point.
It's my middle name. I've always liked it :-)..never thought it was gross and always thought it was timeless. I really like the unique spelling...Mary is also timeless.
Lee .. It reminds me of Leeward Islands, chain of islands in the West Indies, at the northern end of the Lesser Antilles, between the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.

I don't like it as a name by itself but I like it as an add on or middle name to some other names. Eg. Amber Leigh.
