Well, it's not my favorite name personally, but I don't see anything wrong with it. It is cute. And I do love names starting with "A". :)
I think April is a really pretty name, but a bit too common. But I do agree with the "crazyme" person... if you were deciding on the name, shouldn't you have decided with your husband? If your husband doesn't like the name, what name or names does he have in mind? What other names do you have in mind?
Not a favourite of mine, but it's a very pretty name.

I like it, but I'm not in love with it.
It's kind of a name that after you hear for a while, you grow on.
Personally, I don't like the name. However, it's not a terrible name, uncommon in this day and age, and very easily spelt.
My question is: did your husband agree to name your daughter that, to please you? Or did you just not bother asking him at all? (Or, is she from a first relationship and your husband is her step-father?) In any case but the last, you should have chosen one you both enjoy.
Also, in the book "These Is My Words", by Nancy Turner, main character has a daughter names April. Thought you might like to know that, and it's a very good book.
Honestly. I don't like it. Its a not so nice name in my opinion.. Why would you name your child a month. But to each its own on what they want there kids to be named. Just remember now she is going to go to school with that name ..You wouldn't want your baby to be teased everyday in school because she has the name of the month. Especially when April comes around..Just my honest opinon.
I dont really like it much. Its kinda like the name Summer there is a certain lack of creativity.
