What's wrong with the name "Angel" for a BOY?

I love it it's my fave name for a boy !

Answer:
there is nothing wrong with it if you want to name your child that, but people tend to find that name as a girl name
I think its a great name for a boy
other people cant control what you name your child
if thats your favorite name for a boy, then name your baby boy Angel and again i think its a FANTASTIC name for a boy
Then what is your question tehn name your baby that
Nothing. My cousin's name is Angel. However my dad thinks that that name is really gay. I don't know why but people are stupid. Many people will call you gay even if you like rainbows (just because you can't decide on one color doesnt make you gay does it?)
Because it is a feminine name and he will be laughed at and hate you the rest of his life.
absolutly nothing it is your decision to name your child the name you would want if you like angel go right ahead there was actually a show called angel where the guy was infact named angel personaly i like guys names for girls not the short nicknames of longer names i mean actual boys names like alex charlie and dylan my little girls name is haylie dylan so do what you want it doesnt matter what others think ;)
I dated a latino boy in high school by the name Angel...and ooh was he ever an Angel.
The only concern I would have as a parent...is that he might get punked out as it could be considered a *sissy name* ?
But he could always go by Angelo if it became a problem.
nothing really but that is a girl's name and you should name him whatever you want to. even though he probably will hate it.
I don't think there's anything "wrong" with it per se, but it just sounds like a feminine name to me.
I don't see whats wrong with it
It wouldn't be my choice for a boy's name
but i think with the right middle name it would be
a nice name for a boy.

But honestly it doesn't matter what we think its your child and you should be able to name it whatever you want.
I just think the name Angel for anyone is tacky. Boy or Girl.
I worry that if you have to ask the question, you may not get the answer. However, for what it's work, angel, it typically is female gender type name, though I would never consider giving a human being this name, but this is my opinion only. However, it does seem like it may make a good gang name, if that's what you are going for.
There's nothing wrong with the name Angelo for a boy.
absolutely nothing.a very strong hispanic name.
There is nothing wrong with that name if you choose it but others may think of it as best suited for a girl.
ummm its kinda gay
Nothing except maybe being harassed by the other boys. Maybe as a middlename or Angelino for a first name.
I guess it worked for Buffy the vampire slayers boyfriend though
In Spanish- Angel in the male form means messenger. So, it is obviously meant for both male and female. When my hubby and I lost a baby a couple of yrs ago, we didn't know the sex so we named the baby Angel Jo, so it was not meant to be specific to either sex.
It's too girly for a boy.
i know a girl whose little boy is named angel and he is just handsome as he can be. it's a fine name for a boy
nothing. i know a little boy with that name
Poor child if your gonna call him that
It is very latino sounding. That does not make it bad though.
Well angel is a nice name but will get the mick took out of him at school will he would in an english high school anyway.
He's going to get beat up every day at school.

If it's your favorite name for a boy, why does it matter what anyone else thinks?
