What do you guys think about the name Devondra or Devi for short?

I THINK IT IS REALLY SWEET NAME FOR A LITTLE GIRL DID YOU PICK IT OUT? IF SO GREAT JOB HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY SAVE NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY DEAR. I AM A GUY BUT MY AUNT BECAUSE SHE IS A RETIRED LPN FOR 25 YEARS I KNOW MORE ABOUT GIRLS THEN GUYS BOYS ETC BECAUSE GIRLS IS ALL SHE HAD MY MOM IT WAS ALL BOYS SO I HAD TO LEARN TO TAKE CARE OF BOTH HANDICAPPED AND DISABLED AT 34
I think she will get teased on the playground and at school.
Why put such a curse on a child like that?

Stick w/ a name that will make her life easier, not harder...geez.

how about not trying to make up a name out of a boy's name just cause you had a girl..
oh oh.. how about marka. or stevenia. ya know what sounds good? zackia or ack for short.

Devondra is not my style at all. I don't care for it, it sounds too harsh and strong for a little girl.
How about Devory or Devora and then calling her Devi?
