Alexander or Xander??
Answer:
well i like both names so much it is really hard to decide and i really think that when he grows up it will be nice for him to have a proper name to use and he has many options on what to use. i think xander i more of a cool name when alexander is more of a business man's name . either way xander will be what he is called. Alexander Mathew is my personal fav.
If the baby is going to be called Xander she might as well name the baby Xander.
Alexander Michael
I think they should go by Alexander since he could use that a proper name and Xander can be his middle name. I like Alexander Matthew better!
Xander is neat. Don't use alexander..sounds wussy.
Xander Mykle
Xander Forrester
Xander Michael
Xander!!
i would go with alexander michael. it sounds better as a proper name. asure her that if she names her child alexander and calls him xander everyone will follow suit. this way the child will be able to choose one day if he wants to be an alex a xander or a alexander. more choice the better.
Alexander and let her nick name be xander so in adult hood it would be proper!!!!!
Go with the X factor. All I can say is make it different. I have a common name and have lost pay checks and had all other kind of problems over the years. So at 38 I changed my name To Bexar ( pronounced Bear ) Mountain, Never a problem sense. Everyone still calls me by my real name. So Save the little guy Some problems.
Xander Matthew
Tell her to name him Alexander Mathew. A person should be able to pick their own nickname later in life.
Michael Alexander sounds better
Xander is a proper name. I think if she names him Alexander, people may call him Alex, regardless of whether she calls him Xander or not. I personally think she should just go with Xander...it's a good, PROPER name...and if she likes it, then go for it.
I like Xander Matthew the best. I don't like the name Michael.
I like Xander Michael!!
I love Alexander Mathew. Not Xander, not Michael.
I don't care too much for Xander so I'd definitely go for Alexander. In the future, he may want to go by Alexander or Alex, etc. That will give him choices. I think it's a good idea to name him something proper because you never know what he'll be when he grows up...and in the corporate world, Xander isn't too familiar. Sorry to say, but people stereotype so that could cause problems later on.
As for the middle name, I think Michael goes better with both. It flows more.
I like Xander, but I would go with Alexander so that he could have the choice when he grows up. It does sound more respectable. And I like Michael better, common but much less common than Matthew.
definitely Alexander Michael
My friend has a little boy names Alexander and calls him Xander. Really, people will call hiim what the parents call him. So if they say Xander, he'll call himself Xander and everyone else will call him Xander. But the good thing about having a formal name and a nickname, when he grows up, he can call himself Alex, or Alexander or Xander - options are good.
My vote is for Alexander and call him Xander. :)
Xander my lil cousins name is Xander Stone and i think it is AWESOME
Sexander
Alexander. For sure.
i say Xander. there are too many Alexanders running around.
I'd go with Alexander. He'll be able to let everyone know what he prefers to be called, and people will call him that. Whether or not your friend gives him the full name Alexander, people will see the name Xander and assume it is a nickname, and they will put Alexander on official paperwork and call him that in official situations. The boy will constantly have to correct people. This will be a bit of a hassle if it really is his name and he doesn't like it, but it will be a GIANT irritation if it is not, in fact, his real name.
Oh, and I like Michael as a middle name.
Alexander, but you have to figure out the middle name by your self
Congrats to your friend, first off.
I'd go with Alexander.
It's a great name, and respectable, too.
Try Alexander Mathew. Now that's a strong, noble name.
Would definately go with "Alexander Matthew", and worry about nicknames like "Alex" or "Xander" later.
alexander matthew, xander is weird and ugly, if they name him alexander why make it difficult and call him xander why not just call him alex!
Alexander
i can understand ALEXANDER but XANDER? how would you pronounce it? ZANDER? KUSANDER? i would stick with ALEXANDER. but thats just my opinion and its her kid.
