What are some patriotic or American boy names?
Answer:
Both names have an American Origin. I was surprised when I did a search that only 10 boys names had American origin.Didn't seem right.
Mychal (form of Michael)means "who is like God."
Jorell means "he saves"
To me a good ole american name is something like Bob(Robert),Eddy or Ed(Edward),Ted(Theodore),Mark, John(Johnathan), Jason, Greg(Gregory), Tim (Timothy), David, Danny(Daniel)
But I guess these all have Greek, Latin or Hebrew origin.
Oh well. Have fun deciding.
Call him George.
i think that you should go with Jospeh Gregory whatever your last name is. Or maybe John Lucus.. best of luck to you

Any presidental name like George, or Thomas.

Justice
America
Liberty
Grace (God shed his grace on thee...)
Are my favorites! I think Justice is a great boy name so strong. And, Liberty for a girl is nice cuz you can call her Libby or Lib.
You could always name after your favorite hero. Or, a president or their wife. But, I think value names are great.
Some good ones are already listed, but I met a gal on a bulletin board who named her son, "BATTLE." I really like it for some reason. It grew on me after a while, and it is DIFFERENT! There will not be three Battles in your son's class! (If it is a boy...)
For a girl, I like COLUMBIA. Before the Statue of Liberty, .<<From the time of the Revolutionary War, the female figure Columbia was generally regarded as the symbol for America, >>
Wow, that's a really good question! One star for you!
How about Samuel or Sampson? (Uncle Sam)
George is good, you could call him Geo.
Charleston or Camden after battles of the American Revolution.
Baxter or Benton after battles of the Civil War.
Grant after Ulysses S. Grant, one of our greatest generals.
You could also name him after one of your husband's superiors that he really respects. What an honor that would be.
GUNNER IS GOOD. SAM FOR UNCLE, NAMES AFTER GENERALS OR DIFFERENT WARS, OR WHERE THEY WERE AT. WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST. ALSO NAMES AFTER GUNS OR EQUIPMENT OF TRUCKS.
I don't have a suggestion for you other than not naming your child Gunnar.
That is a terrible name.
Andrew. Jason. Michael. Thomas. George. John. Jacob. William.
call him:
jason,adam,william,sean,kevin,...
Congrad's
your choice of the name will be the perfect one
i Love the names Grant and Gunner. they are so cute and pretty unique
