It's pretty. I had a good friend named Brennan, it's unusual so she won't be one of 5 in her class!!
I love the name Channing too.
**AND for everyone saying it's a boy's name: everyone I know that knows this girl (Brennan) doesn't make fun of her. It's a beautiful name...it is one that could go both ways, but I think it's unique and almost sexy to have a name like that. My bestest friend a "boys" name. Cameron. She gets nothing but compliments.Just some FYI for everyone!!

I love the name, but I think it is over used currently.
I've only ever heard it for a boy, but it could definitely be a cute crossover.
Middle names I'd suggest sticking with something that's definitely girl sounding to balance the first name.

Brennan is a boys name. I'm not being nasty but you need to hear it. She'll get teased at school and I'm sure you remember how cruel kids can be. If you like celtic names, look some up on google. How about Branwyn? (pronounced bronwin) sounds kinda similar. Briana is another nice one.

I'll give you my honest opinion here. If I hear or see the name Brennan I think BOY. If I see the name Elizabeth I think GIRL. Brennan is about as cute on a girl as the name Elizabeth is on a boy.
