Interesting baby names?

i was named after singers (stevie nicks from fleetwood mac and chrissie hinde from the pretenders) and i want to name my kids after songs.

i have 3 girls names
1. rhiannon (fleetwood mac song)
2. adia (sarah mclachlan song)
3. etienne (y kant tori reed song)

but the only boys name that i can think of that is a song is jeremy (the pearl jam song)

any suggestions for boys names that are also songs?

and what do you think of the girls names?

Answer:
For the love of God, give your child a name that won't get him/her beat up in school.

If you want a girls name, go with Leila (the Eric Clapton song). Don't go with Roxanne (The Police song).

There aren't many songs named after boys, unless you want to call him Sue (A Boy Named Sue by Johnny Cash).
I would go with rhiannon
Another boy song is Zion by Lauryn Hill. That's a cool name.

Rhiannon is a beautiful name but is becoming more common. Adia is nice too.
The trouble with names that are in songs is that they'll get sick of hearing them. I had a friend called Jolene who was forever being sung at - "I'm begging you Jolene, don't take my man..."

I adore the name Rhiannon; Adia and Etienne are all right.

The only song I can think of with a boy's name in right now is "Hey Jude" and I'm not sure naming a boy Jude would be wise. Or there's always Ernie, who drove the fastest milk-cart in the west, but really, don't go there.
I do like the girls names, as well as Layla. Boys names are a bit harder... my first thought was Jeremy too. There's also Bobby McGee (by Janis Joplin). But that's all I can think of at the moment.
I like Adia.
I like Adia for a girl, Adriana by Vince Gill is pretty too, and I found a neat site for you: http://www.answers.com/topic/list-of-son...

There are lists of songs and their artists with personal names. There are hundreds of them - Richard, Ryan, Robert, Jesse, Adam, Zachary, Zoey, Abby, Adeline, Paul, Paulina are just a few of the ones I like from there. You can look up all the title and artists for yourself though so good luck!

well... i do know for boys names - james marshall is jimi hendrix actual name and I love it for a boys name as far as the girls names... if you named me rhiannon or aida... id kill you.. it may mean something behind it but its not a very "lasting" name.
*Levon sung by Elton John for a boy.
*Rosalia by Better Than Ezra
*Abraham, Martin, and John sung by Dion. It is about Abe Lincoln, ML King, and JFK.
*Aura Lee is an old traditional song that Elvis redid as Love Me Tender.

*Amanda sung by Boston
*Don't Cry Joni or Linda on My Mind sung by Conway Twitty
John Jacob Jingleheimber Schmidt! His name is my name, too! Ha! Just kidding.
Etienne is a brand of sneaker, isn't it?
Rhiannon is a great name in my opinion.

That's all I can think of now.
lil AJ
Adia is nice. For boys how about Jude (Beatles), James (James Taylor)
i hate the girls names and i thik the name Jeremy in just fine!
Rhiannon...I like it so much I am naming my little girl that when she is born..its the name of an ancient Welsh Goddess of Magic and Animals...it also means great queen!
i like the names. i like the name destiny, serenity, presley and gracie for girls. i like the names skyler ( my sons name) and kaison for boys names.
rhiannon would be cool b/c it goes with your name (the stevie nicks part, obviously)

Please not Jeremy, that's creepy.

Just so you know that Rhiannon ends up being nicknamed ann.
For a boy's name I like Rider, as in Midnight Rider, the song. Although, I would probably change it to Ryder. I like Etienne for the girl, it's interesting and beautiful at the same time.
I like Jeremy. Why are you going for names associated with songs?

Just think about the baby when you name them. They are the one that has to live with your choice and if it is weird ....
I have a step sister.
Her name is Rhiannon.
No one ever knows how to spell it, when they say it, they always have to be corrected because they think its "Reanne, or Breanne".
So I would go with Adia.
I like Adia!! CUTE!
I love the name Rhiannon!

Sorry, I don't know any boys' names that are songs.
i like adia
