I know that in America, a lot of people like to give their children names beginning with the same letter (Joshua, Jared and Jennifer are some siblings I know), but I've never heard of anything so spiritually significant. That's very interesting.
I'm pretty sure we on the western side do not. Only because my name begins with a K, and my zodiac sign is Aries. I don't think there is anything related between the two of them?
That is very interesting!
I think people in the Western world do it differently and there will be many varied answers on this.
I personally chose my children's names for their meaning and ancestry. I live in the United States.
Most parents do not consider naming a child with regard to his/her astrology sign here in the west. I would say, most people in the western world do not believe in astrology.
I never really did (4 kids). Only with the last girl, we tried to get an alliteration type of thing going with the first and last name. And now that she is in high school, her friends love calling her by her first and last name together because it sounds so good as it's rolling off the tongue..
no i dont really know.
I've never heard of anyone doing that here
I can't think of anyone who did that here. I know a lot of Virgos and noone with a V-name.
The only case I know of that parents consider the first intial is if they're going for a theme: Randall, Robert, Rebecca, for example. All R's. I know someone who's name is Kerry Lynn and named her son Kieran Liam. Same intials.
im nt shure about that. i don;t think so... i think indian culture is really speacial and interesting.. that's why their different
Yse they do coz westerners r also superstitious like us.

I have never heard of such but the best thing to do is to give your child a name that you will be proud of.Hope thats good advice.
In the western world, families usually name their children after other family members. Sometimes it will be the child's first and middle name, or just one of the two.
no, not really, but some focus on the meaning of names to try to come up a name that's a cute meainng. but some people want names that will have a letter that match their initials.
no, parents name their children whatever they want however they want!
Some times, if you are deep in the zodiac you may find some where some reference and use it.
