What do you think of the name Naume?
Answer:
I'm not a fan. I thought it was pronounced Nome or Nah-ume. Not Nay-you-me. She'll constantly be stuck correcting people. Which stinks.
Weird. Why don't you just go for Naiome? Which is basically what you are pronouncing.
Nay-you-me sounds better to me. Points for the totally original name!
I agree with CC, Naoime.
Don't much care for it. Someone suggested Naomi, which sounds better to me. Given the considerable number of languages, and the considerable number of names common in each, you have lots to choose from. I'd suggest somthing appropriate to your particular ethnic background.
Are you in America? If so, I hate it. In Mexico, it is probably popular.
Naomi?
Nay-you-may?
I don't like the name, but I do like Naomi. Naume looks mispelled and I can imagine during roll call at school the giggles and a badly misprounounced name...
i prefer Naomi to that name.
I love it its my aunti name and its an arabic name means kindeness
(shudder!)
That name is AWFUL, either pronunciation.
Any child saddled with that will grow up to be a serial killer.
You ASKED for opinions, I GAVE one.
Nay-you-me
My cousin couldn't say his grandmothers name (Naomi) when he was little...He called her Nomie. She passed away shortly b4 his 2nd little girl was born so they named her Nomie...Cute huh?
Naiomi's better, i think its a hebrew name by the way. Or you could name her Neshume, (Ne, shu, me) which means soul or something like that in hebrew, its a very pretty girls name.
