This is the weirdest question I've encountered in a very long time.
i agree with you. if parents werent so afraid to spank their kids cuz of the laws there would be less crime in the world. and i dont make my three kids wear helmets or knee pads, they can if they want, my kids climb trees and still no broken bones they climb on the monkey bars on top and walk with no problem.

I don't plan to keep my kids in a safety net.
They have to learn to be careful, i'll warn them they will fall. Im not saying if they are on the edge of a cliff i wouldnt snatch them up but if they are ridding there bike, they are fine with out the helemt and all that, I was, I knew what would happen if I fell, ne time i did I made sure not to fall on my face.
teach the kids safety, if they dont trust your advise then they will be dumb. and if they get hurt you get to say well I told you this would happen so buck up, u didnt want to listen next maybe you will.
i had a milk fight in my school last week. you know what the person who got milk dumped on them didnt do anything! Im 12 and if that was me.. i swear on my whole familys life that person would not have a face no more!
I can see the need for protection in skating--tricks that we never dreamed about 20 years ago. For the most part I agree with you.
