Aiden Paul is so cute. My youngest son is Aiden and we wanted his middle name to be Paul because that is m y dads name, but the initials spelled out something we ddint like. But I love your idea. Owen Paul is nice too, but I would go with Aiden Paul. :) Good Luck

Don't fret me and my wife would argue and argue and just do what I did. I told my wife that she has this one and I have next one and she accepted that. So I have free reign on my second childs name.
While both are similar, I like the name Aiden MUCH better than Owen. I always hear the tugboat sound when I say Owen. You know those two notes...OWWWW-ENNNN. Just my 2 cents.
I think this is more your right to choose the name you are going through many things. This is a Mom's right.
Keep looking for a name that you can both agree on. As a last resort agree to put both names into a hat, have somebody else pick the name and that's it with no further arguing. However, I think if you keep looking you can find a name that you can both agree on. I wanted the name Crystal for my second child and my husband absolutely refused that name (he never did say why) but we did come to agree on Crista and that's the name she got.

aiden seems to be a pretty popular name within the last year or two.
I like both of the names, but I think that Owen Paul sounds better than Aiden Paul.

Well I will have to say Aiden, since that is what I am naming my son in April. Aiden Paul sounds good together. Owen Paul doesn't have the same ring to it. My sons name will be Aiden Jacob Stewart.. with 2 middle names only b/c it is tradition to have the mother's maiden name in the baby's name as well. Good luck.. and Congrats!!

Both sound nice, but I like Owen best. Though I think if you can't agree on either of those names you should scratch them both off your list and start over. There is no use in arguing over two names you can't agree on. Look for a completely different name that you will both like.

I don't like Owen because his first 2 initials would be OP. Aiden is nice. It is one of the names I considered, but I decided against it because my son's initials would have been ATM.
