I had friends both named Rachel and Raquel. My friend Raquel had the nickname "Rocki" before I ever met her. In my opinion I like both, but lean more towards Rachel.
raquel- it's not heard of as much.
i would be care on how you spell any names of your children cause i grew up with a name that no-one new how to spell or say and it gets very annoying cause you always have to correct them
