In all honesty, I think it could be cute... but only while the child is still a baby. I don't think the name would "grow up" with it. I think it would make life more difficult as the child goes to interview for jobs or even in elementary school... children can be cruel!

For a horse, it's great. I wouldn't name a child that, though.
Just a general rule of thumb to make your child's life easier: Don't give them a name that describes something else...and if you have to, have a good nickname handy.
And to echo someone else, "Cinnamon" DOES sound like a stripper's stage name.
