What do you think of my cousins kids names?
I want good or bad comments please! Don't worry I won't tell her. I'm probably thinking the same thing as you!
Answer:
well, i like the name dylan for a boy. Dean is a kinda cute name. My daughter's name is Devon, but i now kinda wish that i hadnt named her that.
They are cute. I don't mind names that all start with the same letter. Rhyming names do irritate me a bit though...or just names that are too similiar...brother and sister Kayla and Caleb.
SD
Well i think it is cute to have the first letter the same, i want my kids to have names start wit a A cause my name is Ashley
I think there cute.
I don't know why families think it's cute to give each member of the family the same first initial...
I knew a family when I was in HS..Danny, David, Diana, their dog Daisy, (neither of the parents was a D name...and then to cap it all off.the middle names were all E names...and their last name started with a W...so all their initials, including the dog, were D.E.W.)
Hate the name dean, devon is cute and my son's middle name is dillon. So, I think that some names just fit the kids and she probably chose those based on her gut feeling. It can be hard to name a child though. Usually women plan their kids' names when they are in elementary school themselves. My 8 year old daughter says that when she gets married she is going to name her daughter Monica.Kids, I'll tell you!
I love the name Dylan!! Dean reminds me of sausage and I like Devon. i think its cute they all start with D's
wait i thought these were all boys omg im sorry what was your cousin thinking???? poor kids!! i hate dylan and devon for girls!!
I like the names individual, but don't think the repetition in the first letter in the family names.I had this friend once, and her dad was Brian, her mom Brenda, she was Brynn, then had 2 sisters, Brittany and Brianne and 2 brothers Brandon and Brennen. I mean it was a tounge twister to say all their names.
I like Dylan and Dean for names, but not Devon. The D-N theme is OK, but not very imaginative.
I like Dylan and Devon but not Dean
I Hate there names,I have three reasons:-
(1) Dean reminds of that Idiot McGuyver, Richard Dean
Anderson!!
(2) Dylan reminds me of that Idiot off Beverly Hills 90210 !!
(3) Devon reminds me of that Degusting sandwich filling
made from Animals Guts, Nuts,Lips, D.i.c.ks & Arseholes..
"You said to be honest and this is what came to mind"
they r ok.. the girls have boy names.. but i have a friend (girl) named daryl... she was put in the boys gym at school... i thought it was funny but she never actually had gym w/ them..
Dylan and Devon for girls! Yea, no!
I know a couple who have 10 kids whose initials are DRL.
Including the Dad. I can't mention their names here. They could be reading this.
I see nothing wrong with your cousin's kids all having names beginning with D. It's kinda cute!
They're not bad. Not great, but not bad.
I think that it is lame to name all of your kids with the same letter! I have 3 children and none of them have the same 1st or 2nd initial. My husband's sister named all of her kids with an "s" because her name starts with an "s". In my opinion this type of thing lacks originality, and it is quite lame. My sister has 4 daughters, 2 of them start with an "e", but the names are awesome so it does not even matter at all. The initials are ENES, MBEC, OSRM, and EJWL. This is without their last name initial! They each have 4 names and they are all awesome. As for her son, he passed away, but his initials were MLSM, so she would have 2 "m"s also, but as I said the names are completly different and it matters not at all. You see, your cousin has all "d"s for the start and "n" for the end, the names themselves are ok, except Dean, I do not know why, but i dislike the name. Anyways, There are not many names that will fit this profile, in fact I can only think of one, Diann, oh, maybe Deann, still not too many left to name and those 2 names stink on ice. So, she needs to really think about it next time that is what I think! Thanks for reading and good luck to you and your cousin!
they are nice names, but not when they are all together. the girls names are unisex but usually used for boys so that is also sort of confusing. they are too close but otherwise nice names
Dylan and Devon , I like. Don't care much for Dean. But, personally I would think Dylan was a boy. Dylynne for a girl would be different.
I think she tried so hard to be imaginative and creative that she ended up with names that are just odd, considering they're not all boys, which is what I thought when I first read your question. I don't like names that aren't gender specific because it makes it very hard for others to know how to address someone if they don't know the person. Devon is an awful name anyway. I don't know where that came from. Dean is a nice name because it's not one you hear very often. Dylan is a nice boy name, but it's overused, especially for girls.
Yeah they sound pretty Masculine!! So do the girls at least have feminine middle names? If not my heart goes out to them!!
I like them all. My family is one that does the first names start with the same letter, but none rhyme, have the same middle initial or anything like that. I'm Stacy, and have sisters Summer and Shelby. My kids are Trace and Toby. Several other family members have done the same thing. It sure makes it easier on having to label kids clothes around my house to take to the babysitter!
