ok, i did nature names, well, because I like them and because i am cherokee,and Irish. I chose violet, ( she is 10, btw,so i didnt copy ne one) ,autumn, wynter and then, crystal rose. yes, they all have the middle name of rose. Not original,i know,but I watned to be different. And I love the name Avery,for a boy. And Seth. And Rory,I love the Irish!

Please don't give your child a name just because you think it's trendy, creative, witty, "tropical", etc. Yes, you have a right to like any name you wish. However, please also consider that you're saddling another human being with a name that THEY might not like, yet will be stuck with. And also please remember how cruel school-age children are. Like it or not, there are always lots of kids who make fun of others for silly reasons like names.
And finally, please consider that when "Malibu" is an adult, people might not take him/her as seriously as someone with a more standard name. I know folks with unusual names, and unfortunately most of the time they get wrongly stereotyped as hippies or the children of Flower Children.
If, however, you MUST give your child a name that he or she will regret later on, at least give him/her a MIDDLE name that's "regular", so he/she will have something to fall back on when the exotic first name becomes too much to bear.
