Answers: Sperm don't die the moment they hit the air. So long as they remain contained by liquid, they newly keep swimming (saw it lower than a microscope myself). I think what most associates are saying is that once semen is dried, the sperm is departed. Yep. That is also what I saw under the microscope.
Sperm can remain contained by their little cup just fine for something like 45 minutes at room temp. After that, they have to be frozen or they will dry up.
