Why do teen moms throw their babies out the window?

They are ignorant. I could say more harsh words, but I WILL be nice. If they don't want a baby, then they should not get pregnant in the first place. It's so easy not to get pregnant. You can get birth control and condoms for free. I don't understand either. People are lazy and stupid. I don't feel sorry for the teenage girls or any woman for that matter,who gets pregnant out of stupidity and then decides to murder their infants. Pregnancy can be prevented.

Are you telling me that only teen moms do this? That's a bit stereotypical isn't it? Who was it again that drowned her 5 kids in a bathtub? What about the one the drove her children into the lake because her boyfriend didn't want children?
because they are immature and don't have brains enough to take responsibility for their actions. i think they need to be taken to the doctor and immediately be given a partial hysterectomy so they can't ever have a biological child.
because like people on here who bad mouth abortion..dont see anything else except the evil in abortion...now you see why abortion isnt soo bad! then babies wouldnt be getting thrown out a window
Why do they have unprotected sex in the first place? They obviously weren't too bright to begin with and this seems to be their out. Its not as bad as throwing one out in the garbe while alive or beating it to death.
Well that is crazy.. but it is lack of support from others. They are young and scared and many of them will get post pardum disorder and not know how to deal with it. I had it.. but never once hurt my baby. I knew to call my doctor and get some help. But when you are young, things are not as clear. Confusion sets in and they break into pieces. They need a nurse to talk to them directly after the birth in the hospital to tell them that if at any time they feel to overwhelmed to call the hospital or the police 911 anything. So it doesn't come to they tossing the child out the window. Many of them do not know that they could just take the child to the hospital, church, fire dept, police station and leave them there and never get into trouble for doing so.
Not all teen mothers are crazy or bad mothers. I had my first daughter at the age of 17, my second at 19 and my third at 22. I am now 30 and can honestly say that all three of my children are smart, well adjusted, GREAT kids. They have a mom that is there for them and provides them with a very loving home. There are good moms and bad moms in every age range, it all depends on if your attitude and taking responsibility for your actions. I decided that when I got pregnant to GROW up and I have taken care of my children. Not every teen mom or any mom for that matter makes that decision.
I was 18 when I had my daughter and take some offense to the people saying that ALL teen moms are "immature" and have "no common sense"! I never did, never would, never even thought of throwing my baby out of a window! Having a baby is stressful, especially as a teen, but that is NO excuse! It is so sad to hear that there are mothers who would rather throw their babies out of a window than place them into a good home with loving parents. I don't know "why" they are doing that, but it makes me very sad to hear that.
