FREAKIN' OUT pleae help immediatly?
On the site above they confirmed that you can indeed use an OPK to detect pregnancy. I am 13 days past ovulation and due to start tomorrow. I seen this on the site and had some left over OPK's so I said what the heck an took one it came up positive. it is too late to run out and grab a HPT so for now I just would like some opinions on this. There is no way I could be getting ready to ovulate I ovulated which was confirmed by BBT and OPK on the 30th of November so this OPK coming up positive is throwing me for a loop. Anyone else have this happen to them before. ANYONE HAVE ANY OPINIONS OR SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT THIS COULD MEAN.

First stop freaking. If you are positive that the purpose of sex. Well, to some extent. If, it not late and you feel you want to do an HPT then go get one or just wait until tomorrow. If, you feel you ovulated and not have a period then that the best time to take the HPT. I always tell women wait until you miss your period, usually the HPT fairly accurate then. This all I can say.
Go to bed and get some sleep. Then get a test in the morning and use it. Best to not get all worked up until you've had a second test be positive. Better to wait on the excitement for now. You sure you can't run to a 24 hour store and grab a test for first thing in the morning? You sound like you want to be preggy, so hopefuly that test is correct.
I'm no expert, but the website above also points out the fallability of the OPK. It says, "A positive result on an OPK could mean you are near ovulation, pregnant, or the test is picking up an entirely different hormone or element." So it could be another element altogether.
And don't you think it'd be easier just to see if you start your period on time, now that you're so close to it anyway? And if you don't start in a few days, get a HPT and find out for sure. Really, there's nothing else you can do.
Oh, and BTW, I envy you. So regular that you can tell when you're due to start down to the day... no fair.

You can use it to test for pregnancy. However, by my interpretation of the reading, you won't receive accurate results. OPKs test for ovulation.HPTs test for pregnancy horomone. Hence your paniced reaction. I'd advised you to take an HPT and confirm the results with a medical laborotory's findings. Above all, try to remain cool, calm and collected. Nothing good ever came from panicing. Good luck.
Sounds like you are going to spend a sleepless night! I would guess that you have a good chance of being pregnant as you know you are not ovulating. It is really hard to wait when you want a baby so bad it hurts. I remember getting on the computer and looking up early signs of pregnancy desperately looking for confirmation that I could be pregnant. Good luck.
