How ealry can you tell the sex of a baby?

i'm 11 weeks and few days and i have a sonogram next thurs. and i was wondering if i'll be able to tell if it's a girl or a boy?

Answer:
Probably not
they usually say about 18 weeks.
usually not untill about 18-21 weeks
No it will be to early to tell at 12 weeks, I was 20 weeks and my doctor said that was the best time to determine the babies sex.
Nope sorry not yet, Im going at 19 weeks to find out, I can't wait! I am 16 weeks now and I go the day after Christmas. What a great Christmas present!
nope you wont be able to see the sex of the baby until about 19 weeks thats when I found out I was having a boy Iam currently 32 weeks and waiting anxiously for him to arrive. Good luck
You should be able to know the sex of the foetus or embryo by about 3 months - 4 months after implantation.
PROBABLY NOT BUT AROUND 20 WEEKS YOU WILL FIND OUT
well about 12-18 weeks.thats even if your baby lets you see what the sex is going to be. i didnt kno what my baby was going to be untill she was born. she just didnt et us see at all her legs were tightly closed. it might be more exciting if you didnt kno i kno for me it was. if you kno its not so exciting and well its not always right my mom was told that i was going to be a boy. and well look at me im a girl so there not always right so good luck with your baby.
no thats too early to tell.. its usually 4 to 5 months when they can determine the sex of the baby. I know i was impatient and wanted t know too :D But you'll know soon :) i was buying neutral cloured clothes then when i knew the sex.. in came the colour hahaha.
If it's a boy you can usually find out sooner as was the case with a friend of mine who found out at 12 weeks. Though, this is uncommon. To be sure, 18 weeks at least.
Although I've heard of some people finding out as early as 16 weeks, 18 weeks is usually the earliest accurate analysis of gender.
Per my High risk OB doctor who gives me an ultrasound every three weeks (by him personally) you can start to see around the 11 week up. It depends on your baby though (position, if your due date is accurate, etc, etc) It also depends on who is doing your US.your doc, your tech? Your tech could be new or no good at telling that. The reason it is hard to tell so early is that the "bump" on all babies will turn into a penis or the clitoris...therefore it can sometimes be confused. So, you are best to wait until the "routine" one at or around 18 to 20 weeks. My doctor told me with my last son at 14, and he told me this time when i was 13 weeks i was having a girl (and has with the 2 ultrasounds after that too) So, it is possible to tell really early, BUT i wouldn't be painting any rooms blue or pink just yet. Try to wait, your doc or tech will be more accurate then. (and just hope baby cooperates) Good luck!
I was 19 weeks when I found out I was having a boy. So you may have to wait a few more weeks. Good luck!
they won't be able to tell what it is yet, the baby is still to little. they can tell between your 16-20 week check-up, i found out at 16 weeks, which is the earliest to tell. but that is only if the baby is cooperating too, hopefully it will be facing the right way when they do it, otherwise you'll have to wait even longer!
