5 months pregnant, sleeping on ur stomach?
Answer:
I developed a hankering to lie on my tummy while sleeping late on in pregnancy too! It was weird! And I kept it up till I was about 8 months pregnant when it became just a little impossible.
So- providing you are comfortable go for it.
And- remember- a wedge or rolled pillow against your tummy to the side of you so you can lie on your side and sort of flop over it is great- it gives you that support to the front of you without you actually lying ON your tum.
Have a grand one and good luck with the birth!
I don't know if it's healthy for the baby. Ever since I found out i was pregnant I stopped laying down on my tummy. Plus, the doctor told me not to lay on my tummy.
you are not suppose to sleep at all on your stomach whether or not you are showing. This could seriously harm the baby and cause a miscarriage. Good luck with your pregnancy
I had a friend who was pregnant and couldn't sleep any other way but on her stomach and her doctor told her to just always put a pillow under neath herself you can try this but ask your doctor first just in case.
I slept on my stomach at 8 months when I was showing and I didn't really feel anything. Occasionally the baby would move... It was the only comfortable position to sleep in with lots of pillows. I asked my doc for a ultra sound to make sure everything was okay and she was fine. Came out as healthy as can be!
I asked this questions myself for first months. It seemed okay. I got an answer when one day I laid on my stomach and realized I got some belly going on right there(it was uncomfortable, hard and a little painful to keep that position). So, I guess until you feel it's comfy for you, you can do it.
I never laid on my stomach, cause its simply hurt and I was scared it would hurt my baby...and I always slept on my stomach. If I was you I wouldnt... I mean whos more important you or your baby? You know its your baby.so just get used to sleepy on your side now anyway..cause your.. going to have anyway.if you have then you prolly need to start.. and if it didnt hurt then your ok..but start now.. ok...take care also I sleep with a long pillow and stuff it under my belly and layed againt it help alot...
